MM25417 - verifies on their site as a signed Indians jacket. Navy with the Wahoo patch, size L, handwritten 12 on the tag. Curious what you all think of the signature and what you'd ballpark the value at. Would love some collector opinions. Maybe a player issued jacket?

Hey All - when I was in middle school and my brother in elementary, we lived in Prague, CZ, due to my dad's job at the state department. In 2009 Barrack Obama visited Prague, CZ, on his EU tour. All the Americans in Prague who worked for the American government were able to see him at the embassy. My parents brought my brother and I, and the only thing we knew about former president Obama was that he liked sports, in particular basketball. Thus, we brought our basketballs, in hopes that he would sign them. After he gave his initial remarks, former president Obama walked through the crowd and shook hands with those at the embassy.

When he walked by us, he saw that we were holding basketballs and actually went out of his way to beckon us over. He first signed my brother's ball (this is the one pictured), and then subsequently signed my ball - I thereafter blurted out loudly asking if "Michelle!" could also sign my ball, my parent's were mortified with my informality. Fortunately, they thought it was funny, and she did in fact sign it too.

When I started college, I realized the signatures on my ball started to fade, and put it up for auction - as I did not have the proper equipment to preserve the ball, nor am I one who gets attached to tangible personal property. My ball, after auction fees deducted, yielded roughly $1,200.00. I believe they also took out an authentication fee. That was somewhere in 2015-2016 (cant remember exactly). That was with both signatures.

Now my brother has conscripted me to help him sell his. The signature on his is much more clear than the signatures on mine. His name is also on the ball. Moreover, it is a 28.5 size ball - if that matters.

Its been roughly a decade since I sold mine, and thus we thought it would be prudent to see if anyone has any other ideas on the best way to sell this or what a competitive price would be.

Would love to know anyone's thoughts.

Has anyone ever seen one of these all-black or “shadow” variant NFL game changer figures of Ja’Marr Chase before? I can’t seem to find another one online even of other players.

I bought these 6” NFL GameChangers figures in 2023 from Fanatics.com for Christmas for my son. Originally, I thought the Ja’Marr Chase one was defective because it was all black vs the Joe Burrow one which was painted like a standard figure. It also didn’t match the limited “all-orange” color variant that was advertised for Ja’Marr.

Let me know if you know what this is or have seen one before!

I buy/sell football jerseys & I have a growing “dead pile” of big-name potentially game-used jerseys of 80’s/90’s NFL stars. Some having promising potential matches, others would be shots in the dark.

I have worked in the past with both Davious & Resolution photomatching. Davious is more cost-effective - especially when you can provide your own photomatch & just need paperwork - but has a massive current backlog & long wait time. Resolution moves a bit quicker, but at a higher price point (I provided my own photomatch for a Sean Taylor gamer & still paid $800 for the paperwork)

Does anyone have any experiences to share? Are there any other “major players” out there for photomatching services? Mears is total junk & I’ve seen MeiGrey certs, but I don’t know if they offer that service in-house only for their own supply.

Gifted a bin of approx 120+ Sports Illustrated magazines from mid 1970s-early 1980s. Looking for advice on how best to preserve them, possible pricing and worth.

Currently just as pictured sitting in a storage bin with an o-ring to keep out moisture, and no direct sunlight. I haven’t wanted to disturb them since after inspecting a few the pages are delicate.

Any suggestions please?
