Variety Review: Kathy Bates delivers an Oscar-worthy performance in The Technopath, perfectly capturing the tech mogul's essence by blending her terrifying intensity from Misery with the chaotic energy of a billionaire firing engineers via poop emojis. The Mykonos yacht scene alone—featuring Bates in a flawless "fridge-freezer" chest prosthetic—is a masterclass in physical comedy that completely eclipses the real Musk's Twitter feed.
Other actors did not always appreciate Kathy’s method acting though, one being qouted saying “She showed up on set one morning with a black eye, completely tripped out on ket”
After several recorded scenes, and a later extensive face comparison, it was determined that that may have been the actual Elon Musk who snuck on the set, at least until the real Ms. Bates shoved up.
You know what Movie I wanna see, "oral history," those kids on the Game Server with him that tried to Bully him into an self-power-off-mode like- walk with me, "those kids get it," those kids see their dads on Linkedin desperate to get jobs andNo oneif they'd have gone downstairs, "mom I'm in a game with the Richest Man on Earth," no one is going to believe them yet this is also their like,
Their X-Wings and the Death Star moment they've have trauma-informed language restrictions all around them their entire social livesand believe, fully, that words, "indeed the pen," are in fact so much mightier than the swordthat sword must be used to stop the pens at all costs lest lives be lostbut this life? Is It Precious?
I dunno I just feel as if its both a plausible project and underdog story, "the kids vs. the adult man on their gaming server with a disregard for sexual proprieties so gauche he's a wanted man in Paris," the kids vs. a man ghosted for an Invite to Epstein Island the kids vs. the Trekboer Dracula,
I mean, make no mistake:
I'd love to see Kathy Bates in this Roleyou remember Tilda Swinton as the, "thank you for your service," widower in Suspiriaman o man o man o man o man o man could that be great
They also did not appreciate how she gave everyone who worked on the set new, imaginary names that no one could pronounce - according to key grip X2-F$#7.7
Honestly though, after seeing Melissa McCarthy do a perfect Sean Spicer on SNL all those years ago, I kinda wanna see this. Either Melissa or Kathy would kill it.
And yet, I would pay to hear her delivery of that famous sentence from Delores Claiborne "Sometimes, being a high riding bitch is the only thing Apartheid Clyde has to hold onto."
She’s an amazing actor regardless of the gender she was born with and the gender of the characters she has played in the past.
It would be insulting to her and to makeup & costume artists she and her peers have worked with to assume that she couldn’t do a spectacular & believable job portraying any given male character.
If Hillary Swank could play a trans man, Kathy can play a man who’s gotten multiple expensive gender-affirming procedures.
Are you kidding? She could pull it off. She is a gifted and talented actress. I’m sure she could portray someone as lowly and unlikable as Musk. Just channel some of that Misery vibe
The post is essentially "Haha, Elon, you're so ugly, you look like a fat old woman!!!" Of course this would make it to the top of Reddit. Can't pass up a chance to insult women!
I think it is more than that. I took it to mean that Kathy Bates can play anyone and it would be the casting that would infuriate him the most. She isn't ugly and never has been. But being compared to any elderly woman would just send Elon over the edge.
I think on the contrary that would be too high a honor for Elon. Kathy would be brilliant as usual… and the best middle finger to the injonction to “delete this” would be her winning an Oscar for it.
She would kill it though she's a phenomenal actress but, she doesn't look anywhere as gross as that person. The fact that he demanded it be deleted is crazy? 1st Amendment buddy!
She's soooooo talented, though. She could pull it off.
And she's not egotistical, at all. I'll bet she sees this and says to herself, "haha, Challenge accepted."

This is wildly disrespectful to Kathy Bates.
