Then, thanks to the railroads, America's transportation needs continued to evolve. We now have a wide array of transportation options. Trains aren't best at everything, but they are better than nothing, still best at some things, and they enable all the rest that follows.
AI technology will continue to evolve until it is as uncomparable to its current form as horses are to rocket ships. We still have horses and saddles. We still have trains.
Humans evolved from apes and we still have apes. Apes evolved from reptiles, and we still have reptiles. reptiles evolved from fish and guess what I am having for lunch today? That's right- spaghetti.
That's all in hindsight knowing how trains worked out. You have zero idea what the long term impact of data centers at this scale will be. Idk how you think it's just going to become better and eveyone will accept it. Like most people want them all blown up.
And spare me any pros AI brings. The negatives will always be worse.

but you've got it all figured out, is that right? If most people want them blown up, then why is everyone using them for everything?
Do you realize that not only does Reddit run on AI but every comment and post you make here and every upvote and downvote you cast is training material for the AI, to enable them to better understand you. If you are so against AI, then you should not be here at all. Your rage against the machine is fuel for its fire.

We still have the railroads 200 years later. If you see the AI as the trains instead of canals in this analogy, it hits completely different.
