new app, no more "offline devices" group?

the app home page used to have a block of devices that were offline, but but it's gone.

is there a way to get a view of all off line devices back?

That's unfortunate. I thought something was missing when I was looking at the dashboard. I guess the work around for now is to use the advanced page on the web version and sort by online/offline. Hope they put that back, it was handy information.

more than handy, it's pretty important to know when sensors and security are offline

Same here. I’ve enabled the hubs option for the dashboard (in Settings). Once enabled, if you click on ‘Hubs’ you can see a count of connected & not-connected. If you click on these counts you can see the not connected (offline devices) at the bottom. I preferred seeing this directly in the dashboard :-(

yeah... this is worse than i thought

my dashboard has hubs enabled, but the hub still isn't shown. if I go to manage hubs I can see the hub with account of connected and not connected devices... but selecting that does not pull up a list of either.

I do like that it tells me I have five devices offline... I wonder what they are.

Good looking out. I knew I felt like something was missing from the dashboard after the update but didn’t realize it was the most used button for me that was missing in the offline one.

As for your comment saying manage hub didn’t show the connected/not connected list, manage hub brings up the same page as if you went to your hub in all devices and clicked on it too.

So try to see if that works for you. Knowing Samsung, they prolly won’t bring the good way back with the quick button so that’s the closest workaround that I know of for now.

I’d suggest everyone submit feedback in the app to ask about bringing it back. Menu - Contact us - ask questions- suggestions

While this doesn't help get it back on the dashboard, you can at least still find it under Menu > Offline Diagnostics.

This is the answer, it was just moved.

Not the answer for me. Offline diagnostics shows ‘No items’ whereas the hub manager shows 5 devices not connected. The not-connected count aligns with what was previously shown in the dashboard before the upgrade. I have never found the offline diagnostic feature useful - as some of my devices are not supported for diagnostics, I assume.

you're not wrong, "offline diagnostics" is utterly useless. "restart the device and bring it closer to the hub". seriously?

I'm assuming you are missing the entirety of that dashboard like even how it says how many lights are on, etc.

When on the home page hit the three dots on the top right > hit edit home page > then hit the plus on the edit page. it should give you the dash as an option

no I have the dash, but offline devices is not an option to display in the dash settings

Hmm yea you are right I don't see it anywhere.

i can't even find the setting for excluding devices from the list anywhere.

Sounds like a feature complaint for sure. That's something to bring back i always found it useful with my garden.

I only noticed it because I got to pop up notification that one of my leak sensors was offline (the damn things go offline and come back again all the freaking time), but the dash panel for offline devices is just gone.

it's not too concerning with most devices, but for my leak sensors it's pretty damned important information

Next time (if its Ikea) put a wet finger under the leak sensor. Sometimes it just reacts with a warning, even showing offline

They got rid of the low battery group too
