Loaded up my save today and when I started opening chests and doors with a lock, I noticed that the option to lockpick it is not aligned properly. Didn't download any new mods that mess with the UI, all I have is SkyUI. I know the game updated recently, could this be related?

I'm also only using the vanilla standing stones. Mods are not effecting them in any way. Any help would be appreciated

Hello all. I’m trying to avoid having to revert to an earlier save that was from a LONG TIME AGO. I’m on the blessings of nature quest and my quest follower Maurice Jondrelle got lost, died, something. I’ve fast traveled and he’s nowhere. I’ve checked his common spots in whiterun the temple of kyraneth etc. I have quest debugger cheat room and two different NPC spawn mods installed. One is Spawn NPC reworked and the other is goodies chest/Spawn NPC from the creations store. I really wanna get him back so I can finish this quest without losing him. Only issue is I couldn’t get his ID to work in cheat room because it didn’t type the numbers I was selecting in. He isn’t in either of the spawn NPC mods. He also isn’t in dead room on cheat room. Someone please help! Tell me this isn’t a lost cause. I’m playing on Xbox

So I bought skyrimSE during the steam sale, it only prompted the studio logo then followed by a black screen with just the music, then shortly after it crashes. Any ideas on how to fix it?
I’ve tried redownloading several times via steam uninstall and wiping the data file on Skyrim’s folder and redownloading.

And the following possible fixes from an old post.

Load a different Steam game (Palworld)that I expect to work. If that fails, it's a Steam problem, not a Skyrim problem.

Check in task manager to make sure all instances of Skyrim are dead. Check my settings in Skyrim's launcher, including primary monitor. Relaunch.

Shut down and reboot my machine (not restart - full shutdown). Launch Skyrim.

Check my drivers. Windows automated installer is good enough if you prompt it.

Open the Skyrim install folder. Uninstall via Steam menu, then check the install folder and Documents>My Games to ensure it's fully deleted. Reinstall and relaunch.

Uninstall again. Reinstall, but choose a different Steam folder (a different drive if possible).

Turning off Nvidia overlay.

I was playing with no problems the other day. Had all of the DLCs on my game. Then I had the bright idea of getting a mod. I've never done mods for Skyrim. I went to Nexus mods to get the mod to adopt more kids. I felt sorry for the boy at the Solitude farm, but I already had two kids. So, at Nexus mods site I downloaded Vortex and the mod for the kids. It didn't ask me to set up the file to put the mod or anything. I just downloaded. And I got the extended script. When I started the game, I get an error message telling me that I'm missing things and it asks if I want to keep loading. For some reason, all of my DLC content is now gone. I went to "properties" on the game in Steam, and all DLC content are checked. I uninstalled the mod and Vortex, nothing worked. I uninstalled Skyrim. Nothing worked. I checked my files, and Vortex and the mod aren't there. How on earth did this happen? Somehow downloading a mod messed with my game and no dlc content will load.

I'm on ps4 and it's been a month of trying everything. Unrelenting shout, hitting her till she's hostile and follows me out of the boneyard and back in, conjuring an ash guardian for her to attack, going through her whole dialog tree a million times. She just stands right outside the entrance to the scroll room repeating "now let me get the scrolls case open". Like BITCH.

I've downloaded the quest-fixing mod, am wearing the ring of quest fixing, used all the scrolls and books regarding this quest. Downloaded the Boneyard bug fix mod. Alidons ultimate armory. I now have two scrolls of blood in my inventory, but until I get the one in the case I can't move the quest forward. I've looked at every forum I can find regarding this bug and everyone seems to find a working solution but me. I have no former saves, I work on quicksaves only (I know i know) and whatever quicksave I had before fighting Durnevir is long gone.

Please help, I'll try anything. This is the last quest of my playthrough, so I have almost all shouts and spells.

To try and keep things brief Map markers from different worldspaces are appearing in the base skyrim compass. best I can tell one mod has affected the worldspaces and made all the markers appear in skyrim as opposed to other lands, realms or even loaded areas like blackreach and shalidor's maze. Nothing obviously conflicts with Atlas Map Markers and I have a bunch of patches for different mods. If anyone has advice or knows what mod(s) might be the cause I would appreciate it.

Edit: Remembered I used A clear map before swapping to paper maps and I don't know if I have to delete something even with it not active or loaded.

Edit2: I've been banging my head against a brick wall looking over my mods, using Xedit to look deeper at the files and try and see what's doing it but because I'm very out of touch with xedit barely know how to find the map marker records. even when I do find it I don't know confidently enough what to look for in them or what has to be changed so I haven't changed anything in fear of breaking something.

Edit 3:Is your seeing this it means I reposted this from Skyrimmodding in desperation and also to add photos. said pictures are screenshots showing the markers appearing on compass and each one has the name of one. one that I didn't get a screenshot of is Brulant mansion from Vigilant I think. Any help is appreciated and I'll likely post all mods

Load Order

Stumbled upon it accidentally. I really like building the shrines from hearth fire and for those who don’t know the Nordic jewelry dlc typically knocks them out of the solitude clothes seller’s inventory. I recently got the perk “sell anything to anyone” and I wonder if that some how exposed the inventory the seller could hold? Any who now I can buy divine charms and as I haven’t seen anyone with a work around for the ninetendo switch I thought I’d offer it here. Is anyone interested in trying to duplicate my results?

Can someone explain why this happened and how to fix it? Or is this a thing that happens normally? I'm in the Blind Cliff Cave.

Hey everyone,
I’m having a really frustrating issue with Skyrim Special Edition on PS5, and I’m hoping someone here has experienced something similar or knows how to fix it.
I’ve been playing Skyrim Special Edition for quite a while and already had an existing save (currently level 45) when I decided to purchase the Anniversary Upgrade for €9.99.
I mainly wanted access to the additional Destruction spells from Arcane Accessories, as well as the extra quests and other content.
I assumed the new content would simply be added to my existing game after purchasing the upgrade. However, that doesn’t seem to have happened.
The problem:
The game lists all the Anniversary Upgrade creations under System → Installed Content, including Arcane Accessories, Arcane Archer Pack, Bittercup, Bloodchill Manor, etc.
However, the actual content seems to be completely missing from my game.
For example:
● Arcane Accessories: The Ancient Tome Chest in Hob’s Fall Cave doesn’t exist, even after clearing the entire cave. Faralda also doesn’t sell the additional spells.
● Arcane Archer Pack: Fire Arrows, Ice Arrows, and Lightning Arrows don’t appear in the Misc category at any forge.
So far, I haven’t been able to confirm that any of the additional Anniversary Upgrade content is actually working.
What I’ve already tried:
1. Completely closing and restarting Skyrim multiple times.
2. Restarting and fully powering off my PS5.
3. Restoring PlayStation licenses.
4. Opening the Creations menu and selecting “Download All Owned Creation Club Creations”. The game reported that all creations were downloaded, but nothing changed.
5. Changing my PS5 console language from English to German and back, as suggested by Bethesda Support. This helped with the Creations menu initially being greyed out, but didn’t fix the missing content.
6. Completely uninstalling Skyrim and reinstalling the PS5 version of Special Edition, following Bethesda Support’s instructions.
7. Launching the freshly installed game without selecting “Download All”, as Bethesda specifically recommended.
Nothing has worked.
After the complete reinstall, the creations are still listed under Installed Content, but the spells, crafting recipes, and Ancient Tome Chest are still missing.
The Creations store itself now loads normally, and I can browse its content.
I’ve already opened a Bethesda Support ticket and am currently going through troubleshooting with them, but we haven’t found a solution yet.
My questions:
● Has anyone experienced this after purchasing the Anniversary Upgrade on an existing Skyrim Special Edition save?
● Is the Anniversary content supposed to work immediately with existing saves, or is there something else I need to do?
● Could this be an issue with the PS5 recognizing the upgrade as owned but not actually loading its content?
● Has anyone managed to fix this without starting a completely new game?
I really don’t want to lose my existing character or start over just to access content I’ve already paid for.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi! So I’m currently playing on my pc and I’m trying to do speaking with silence. I play with mods and one of them I have every location unlocked then I have the Kaidan follower mod. It doesn’t bother me on console and I’m not sure it would have here but— Mercer just…won’t spawn???? I can’t find a way to teleport him to me either. It’s just stuck. The quest arrow won’t show up either on my screen!

I’m not sure how to fix this :,( Google is no help.

I was running Skyrim SE with multiple mods before the update, ran the system checks, mod updates, reinstalled Steam, reinstalled Skyrim, reinstalled SKSE, all that jazz. There are no error messages, LOOT spots no problem, the game doesn't crash, so there's no crash log. Just the dragon symbol screen and the spinning wheel of no loading. I've let it run for over ten minutes, no luck. I would appreciate the help identifying the culprit.

Unfortunately, my load order is far long long, it won't fit, and I can't figure out how to add a pdf to this.

Whenever I talk to him he just goes "We are going to make them pay" and never follows me anywhere. He sheathes his weapon when I sheathe mine but he doesnt follow me around like a temporary follower like Alea and Farkas did

Every time I go into Whiterun, there's this weird bug shown here. I already uninstalled and reinstalled the game from Steam and it didn't seem to fix anything. Has anyone ever had this issue before? I also have not seen any issues with any other major city, though I have not checked all of them. Any advice would be appreciated!
