I had an OG who told me when I was young “the worse thing a girl can tell you is that she isnt interested. Or no. There are people in your life that those words will actually mean something when they say it to you — a random girl you just met - aint it.”
Unfortunately, it still requires self worth to be able to accept the praise. Without the self-worth these words sound hollow and somewhat condescending. In my case I'm working on building my own self-confidence through repeated practices that show that I am worth the attention that is given to me. It's taking more work than I was expecting.

I was broke and ran circles around dudes with money - because i look good.
