*Some Zionists didn’t like that he supported Palestine. Fixed it for ya

Is that not implied by “didn’t like that he supported Palestine?”

Critical thinking is not a trait that’s selected for in 2026.

Virtue signalling, on the other hand…

It’s a question of whether they did it because they are rich or Zionist.

If they weren't rich they wouldn't be able to do it.

But would a rich non-Zionist have blocked Macklemore?

Why would they? He’s there to make them money.

They’re only Zionist so they can become rich

Which typically goes in hand with Zionism or Israel-support, to be fair.

2 million Palestinians literally live and vote in Israel.

That's like saying the Klan wasn't racist because Black people lived and "voted" in the Jim Crow South.

True, but what Israel has done and is doing to the other people named Palestinians, of the demarcated territories labeled “the Gaza Strip” and “the West Bank” respectively, is still pretty goddamn unethical, unconscionable, and just plain fucked-up and wrong in my book.

I thought that was a pretty popular/uncontroversial view on Reddit, hm (ironically, I’m also pretty against other mainstream & politically correct views on mainstream Reddit), but I guess it can change depending on the subreddit of course.

No Israel is killing them.

Both are true. Technically 2 million "Palestinian Arabs" (specific to ethnicity, not national allegiance) live in Israel. And, yeah, the stuff in Gaza is also a thing.

Remember Israel was formed via a joint venture of Zionist Jewish people and antisemitic politicians in France and the UK after WW2. There is a huge chunk of people that support Israel because they also think its great to have place where all the Jews can stay in one spot and hate the idea of a large Jewish diaspora. Course the Zionists were willing to throw in with this lot to get what they wanted.
