Hello, I’m trying to find a Sesame Street segment from my childhood and I’m hoping someone here might remember it, too, or know which episode it’s from. Here’s what I remember:
- Bright orange cookie dough, made with pumpkin.
- Hands mix the ingredients and scoop the dough onto a tray. I think they were human hands, but they might have been furry Muppet hands (blue?). Or maybe the monster hands helped with a step or two, or just absconded with them at the end.
- The production gave a kind of chaotic kitchen vibe--the footage is a little sped up and jerky in my memory, but that might just be the intervening years.
- Maybe just music, or possibly a narrator describing the steps. The "baker" is not shown and the sound is not implied to be the baker talking, I'm pretty sure.
- I think I saw it in the mid 90s.
Even a partial memory would help. Thanks!

I think we all know who the top 3 are in terms of recognizability: Big Bird, Elmo and Cookie Monster in that order. But who’s numero quatro?

When I was a kid I would dart in the living room and jump around every day Elmo was on! I found a few dvds and was like why not like 20 years later. 🤣

Does anyone remember having Sesame Street cookies in the late 90s-early 2000s from the grocery store? I can’t find an image from them anywhere.
They came in a baggy, possibly red? With ziplock closure at the top
They had all the characters
They were a vanilla/ butter flavor… leaning towards vanilla
They were about an inch and a half in size.
I feel like I imagined them

Some characters I‘d love to see again are Lila, Ruby, Lulu, Alice Snuffleupagus, the Dodos, and other older or lesser-seen Muppets. Even more than once.

I’m listening to an old Sesame Street record on Spotify that my family had. It’s making me tear up. It’s so good.
What a gem of a show.
What a gift.

Huxley from The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland and Stingy from Lazytown (props if anybody remembers that show) would have the most insane beef if each other crossed paths.
Despite Huxley being a grown ass man and Stingy being a child, both have a lot in common.
They both love claiming and taking things that aren't theirs, they both dress in yellow with red bow ties, both are extremely selfish, both also have songs dedicated to the word mine (The Mine Song and Make it Mine), and both have friends who are constantly at their wits end dealing with their bs 24/7 (Trixie and Bug).
Even though both have a lot in common both would despise each other simply for the fact one or the other would try to take something from each other and that alone would incite world war 5 due to both being extremely petty.
Personally my money's on Stingy, while Huxley has plenty of gadgets to use on Stingy like he did on Elmo in the Adventures of Grouchland movie, Stingy is way smarter than he looks and Huxley was outwitted singlehandedly by Elmo at the end of the movie so it's not completely out of the question for Stingy to be able to do the same.
Plus Stingy also has his car to run over Huxley like he did Sportacus 😂
