If you happen to live in the area, and it's convenient, please let me know. No big rush. Sorry I can't pay but if you'd be willing to publish it on Creative Commons I will attribute the photo to you in a forthcoming fiction novel (which is completed). Your photo's surroundings will be photo-bashed to look futuristic (the year 2076-ish) but the Hughes Tower as it stands to day (and presumably will still stand in 50 years) will be the focal point. Camera quality is less important than getting the whole building in frame. Questions welcome, thanks!

Hey everyone!

I’m a (brand) new indie dance-pop artist based in Seattle preparing to roll out 5 singles. I’m looking to connect with a local photographer interested in shooting single cover art and promo portraits (high-energy, stylish, urban/creative vibe). I will definitely be willing to pay for these photos and I'm open to both emerging photographers/students and pros.

If this is up your alley or something you would be interested in, please DM me or drop your portfolio or Instagram as well as your rates!

Hi,
I need to photographer for my backyard wedding Oct 3rd. I was working with somebody, but they were not able to secure the date with their day job’s schedule. It is a couple of weeks away, and I am really hoping somebody is available.
If you have that date free, could you send me your website url or something similar?
Thanks in advance!

Could someone share 1–2 original photos taken in Seattle with me every month?

Requirements:

• The photos should be original and newly taken, rather than existing photos.
• Casual photos are preferred. Any style is fine.
• It's better if they are taken in public places, such as streets, university campuses, parks, waterfronts, etc.
• Ideally, the photos would be taken with a cell phone, rather than a professional camera.
• The photos would be exclusive to me and should not be publicly posted or shared elsewhere.

I'm not looking for anything professional or staged. Just something that naturally catches your eye while you're out in Seattle, like you notice something interesting on your way home.

Please DM me if you're interested. We can discuss a small monthly payment.

I recently visited Seattle and spent a day exploring the waterfront, Pike Place Market and Bainbridge Island. I tried to capture the transition from the energy of the city to the quieter island atmosphere.
Shot on a Sony A7C II. I’m still working on creating more cohesive travel photo stories, so constructive feedback on the sequencing, color treatment and compositions is welcome.
My personal favorites are the waterfront at sunset and the nighttime Pike Place frame. Which image works best for you?

Took a couple of snaps while going to a favorite Thai place on Capitol Hill with some friends. The last two images are in both color and cool-black & white.

Do you know where the first image is from?

I am looking for a legal urban exploring esc location in Seattle. Specifically need a place that is somewhat legal to enter/be around since I don't want to put anyone else at the photoshoot at risk. I was thinking fort casey or pier 86 but want to know some more spots.

Hey everyone,
My partner and I are wedding photographers, and we do all of our own editing. Our current Macs have served us well, but they’re starting to struggle with our workload, especially now that we’re using more AI-powered tools in our editing process.
We really like the Apple ecosystem since everything we use is already built around it, but spending $4,000–5,000 on a new Mac feels a bit hard to justify.
So I’m curious—what would you recommend?
We’re looking for a computer that:
Can handle large Lightroom and Photoshop catalogs without slowing down.
Works great with AI tools like Lightroom AI features, Photoshop Generative Fill, Topaz, Imagen, Aftershoot, etc.
Is fast, reliable, and something that’ll last us several years.
Ideally costs less than a fully specced-out Mac Studio or MacBook Pro.
Would you stick with Apple? If so, what configuration gives the best value? Or are there Windows PCs that would outperform a Mac at this price point?
Our budget is roughly $2,000–3,500, but we’d spend a little more if it’s truly worth it.
I’d love to hear what other photographers are using and whether you’d buy the same machine again.
Thanks in advance!

Hi! I’m visiting Seattle for ONP where I plan to propose!
Location: hurricane ridge
At sunset on the 31st of July

Would appreciate any help in finding someone that is willing to tale photos! Or help me find where I can find a photographer!

Feel free to message me! Would need help in coming up with a vision and style as well!

Here are a couple of quick cellphone snap photos I took on Saturday at Seattle's Cal Anderson Park while tripping around Capitol Hill during Seattle Pride.

Hello everyone! There’s a currently a crows nest outside of my apartment. I’m holding a competition to see who can take the best photograph of the baby crows. Winner gets a complementary Reiki session with me, Reiki Cowboy. Check out my instagram and the reel I made about the comp to learn more https://www.instagram.com/reel/DZvf9kRSMlQ/?igsh=Yzlnd3BnczB2MHVm

We run Dudes Baseball, and we're hiring a videographer to shoot games for our collegiate summer program. We field two PIL squads (college players home for the summer), with games running now through late July. Home base is Hartman Park in Redmond plus other fields around the Seattle area.

The work:

• Game coverage (weeknight and weekend games)
• Short-form highlight clips for Instagram/social (we run an active game-day social operation)
• Individual player highlight reels (summer film matters to these guys)
• Raw handoff or edited clips, whatever fits your workflow

This starts as per-game work for the summer team. If we like the footage, we'll expand to more events across the program (tournaments, showcases, our youth teams), so there's real potential for this to become steady work.

What we're looking for:

• Comfortable shooting fast-moving sports (baseball experience a plus, not required)
• Your own gear, clean footage matters more than the rig
• Reliable on schedule

Paid: tell us your per-game or day rate and link some work, sports or action footage ideally.

Contact: mcbride@dudesbaseball.club or DM here. Season is underway, so we're moving quickly.

Hello,

My dad is having year retirement party next week and we are looking to hire a photographer. We are open to someone who may be seeking more event experience as well if that is something you are interested in. It would be about 80-100 people for a few hours. Does anyone have suggestions?

Thank you,
Conor

Finally graduating and want to actually have decent photos to show for it. Looking for a photographer available in the Seattle area for the ceremony + some portraits after. DM me or drop your info below — budget is flexible for the right person.

EDIT. Thanks everyone! I went with Kate Askarova, she's amazing!
