Analysis [Ted Nguyen] The 49ers got their run game going against the Seahawks by running away from Nick Emmanwori in 13/19 of their handoffs
Emmanwori continues to prove his dominance on whatever part of the field he lines up on. This man can really do it all, any speculation of how he would look after his injury may now be at peace.

Impressively meaningless stat without more context.

Glad someone on here knows ball. Nick is most likely lined up on the backside of runs so naturally the play is going away from him

Yea. If we saw Purdy checking plays away from Emanwari it would mean something.

It isn’t. How many times did they run towards Kittle, away from Murphy, or towards the short side of the field. It’s meaningless on its own.

Its honestly probably Macdonald manipulating San Frans blocking scheme more than anything, Eman doesnt really need to make the play to influence the block. Maybe not so much the Niners avoiding him themselves, but Mike using the beast to disrupt the blocking assignments. Either way though, its Eman causing confusion.

Interesting. Time for Mike to get back in the lab and figure out how to plug that hole
