Rice shower: Won Kikusha Sho and Tenne Sho from 1992-1993 ( taken from wiki ), Stole Mihono Bourbon and Mcqueen podium
Gtr R32: Debut from 1990 and stole the podium of various manuafactures which is Toyota, Porsche, Ferrari, Venturi,...., won 29 races from 1990-1993 in the Group A category ( aka as JTC ), this lead to the birth of JGTC ( Gtr so good that it destroys the whole category, so the organization had to reset it ) from 1993-1994 the R32 got the final form before the R33 overshadowed it, it won 5 podium that day
--> both rice shower and R32 is a Assasin on the track and hated by everyone eventually ( with Rice, they see her as a podium stealer, same with r32 since it stole many potential team podium just until before the Mk4 A80 Toms Castrol debut )
R32 GTR was a monster from start to finish. Rice Shower, while beastly, wasn't a monster throughout his entire career. R32 GTR was known for absolute pure dominance while Rice Shower was known to steal important podiums and assassinate historical wins.
R32 GTR was a longsword, Rice Shower was a dagger. R33 GTR was widely loved during and after its races, Rice Shower was widely loved only after his races. R33 GTR was a beloved monster, Rice Shower was a hated underdog.
The closest I can think of that is slightly fit Rice Shower better is possibly the Toyota Corolla WRC. General performance were generic yet it was enough to win manufacturers championship in WRC 1999, ahead the likes of Tomi Makkinen, Colin McRae and Richard Burns, and then promptly disappeared.
