Days Since Last Playoff Win

Post image

2nd most in baseball, 5th most overall.

Sell the team, you're clearly incompetent.

I will bring up 2012 Game 3 against the Giants every chance I get. That was the chance.

Damn the Detroit Redwings have fallen far haven’t they? I was a casual at best NHL fan as a youngster but I remember them being one of the dominant teams of the late 90s. The Bengals are slowly sliding down the NFLs list. šŸ˜ž

Is this just a game for mlb or series? Should be series

This is just a game. I was there at that 9-0 win over the Giants on 10/7/12 and was fully convinced that we were gonna finish the series with a single win at home in three tries and go on to win the World Series…

The Dusty Baker was completely out managed.

During the season Mat Latos tended to pitch well the first 5 innings then fall apart. In game 5 of the playoffs he was recovering from a cold, and Dusty decided to start him anyway, and leave him in even though he was getting shelled. In the 5th inning the Giants went on to score 6 runs and Latos only got 1 out. The Reds came back and score 4 over the next few innings but still lost.

Dusty was like in shell shock and sat on his hands while any chance of a win slipped away.

Just as you think it can’t get worse you see the Dolphins. Could be another 5,000 days at least!

But, but, but... if Happy Gilmore just keeps trying out for the hockey team, then some year he will finally accomplish his goal.... right?..... RIGHT?!?!?

Damn. Of all the major league teams I follow, the freakin’ Bengals are last team that’s won a playoff game.

Hard to believe the Red Wings with all the great teams they had in last 30 yrs it’s been 10 yrs since last playoff win.

In accurate. I want to see playoff games/series.

Basically, did you advance in the playoff round or not.

The reds are the worse franchise at this on earth. By miles. Burn it all to the ground and fire the entire front office to the sun

also, that's "one game of a playoff series", the last time they won a playoff series is even worse - 1995.

What is the point or what is being implied with this data though?

Yes, the Seattle Mariners have a more recent playoff win than the Cincinnati Reds. But:

The Seattle Mariners have had 6 playoff appearances in franchise history (1995, 1997, 2000, 2001, 2022, and 2025). While The Cincinnati Reds have made the playoffs 17 times in franchise history, most recently in the 2025 National League Wild Card Series. Additionally, the Seattle Mariners are the only team to not have a single World Series appearance.
