This girl is going viral on TikTok for saying it's rude to ask your friends if you can stay with them if you're visiting their city and I grew up having family just show up to stay with us. It would never occur to me some people dont host friends or family.

I found myself thinking about how nice it would have been to live in a hunter/gatherer village and be the weirdo who spends every day collecting and sampling plants in case they have some cool hidden properties just to end up being a respected healer because you found one that alleviates back pain or something and nobody else has any better knowledge about healing. You might end up trying to cure cancer by rubbing dandelions on it because you once tried it on a painful stomach it got cured in a couple of days but who cares, it's the best they got so might as well go for it and hope that placebo does the trick.

Taking a walk, it’s a crisp 70 degrees. Leaves crunching underneath my feet, dancing in the wind. I can feel the sun on my back and face. That warm fuzzy feeling it brings is nice. Thinking of my cats at home, I wonder if they miss me too. It sucks when you think about it.. the majority of their lives are spent waiting for you to come back home. While we are also stuck for 8 hours waiting to go home. Tell me something sweet to get me by….

Channel Zero was a really good show. Honestly, it's a better-written horror anthology than AHS. Sadly, it ended one year before the original Backrooms 4chan post was made. If the show had still been going on, or if the post had come out a few years sooner, I just know the Channel Zero writers would've made an absolutely insane season around it. I just watched the movie last night, and honestly, the main thing running through my head was, "this feels just like Channel Zero." I wonder if Kane Parsons is a fan of the show at all. The concept has such great potential for a full season of television. It makes me sad that AHS totally fumbled it.
