Did you check out the corec? It's huge! Go check out what they have! Take a dive off the diving board! Check out the esports gaming room!

And the bowling alley it’s fairly cheap. If you choose to take the bowling class you get to bowl free for a time period every day, only need to rent shoes for like $3 if you don’t have them

Don't forget the pool tables too! If it's still around, the billiards club may give discounted/free games if you pay semester?/year? due.

Yes! This is a good place to start if you want to build rockets. Many astronauts from Purdue after all.

Walk over to Lafayette on the pedestrian bridge and explore the downtown over there, lots of good shops and restaurants, coffee shops, etc. Visit the library. Rent a bike. Walk the Wabash Trail. Head to Indy for the state fair. Pick a building or two on campus to learn about that isn't in your schedule. Start journaling and keep doing it after people arrive, it's a lovely thing to have to look back on. Pick a category of food and find the best of the best in town-Pizza, Mexican, late night, etc. Research student organizations and which ones you might want to join. If you have a vehicle, try visiting a state park that isn't currently flooded. If you're religious, look into local churches and attend a service to see if it's a good fit. Put student events on your calendar you want to attend-football games, etc. Clean out your photo gallery on your phone.

You could try stripping down, slathering yourself in peanut butter, then run through the streets screaming about the tiny men living in your skin if you're looking to meet people.
I can't guarantee you'll enjoy the people you meet but I guarantee you'll meet some!

Just keep taking it all in. Those days where it felt like just me and campus were some of the ones that I cherished most.

Check out the bookstore, Von’s, and just walking around campus and Chauncey. Spend time in the dining halls, Co Rec and common areas where there are other people. You’re not the only one feeling that way on campus right now so don’t be afraid to say hello and start chatting with others!

If you aren't taking part in the BGR orientation program, I'd highly recommend! I made some amazing memories, grew personally and had an amazing experience that made me feel like a Boilermaker! That should run right until classes start too.
Other than that, explore your class locations. Get used to the buses. Try the dining courts that are open. Try the food places you like. Co Rec is amazing too!

I believe meet the Greeks on Krach/Rush is this week/next week if meet the Greeks already happened.. even if you have no interest in Greek life, there’s a ton of various FSCL organizations with different backgrounds; it can be a great way to meet new people, especially when you’re new. When I was a freshman, it was the best way for me to quickly find likeminded people even if I didn’t join there specific organization or chapter.
