MemešÆ Can I make it to class on time??
I have class in CL50 and then I have 10 minutes to get to UNIV. According to Google Maps it takes 2 minutes to walk, but do y'all think that's doable?? I don't think I'm a fast walker, probably around average speed, so I'm kinda scared I'll be late š Should I bring my car on campus so I can make it in time? Or should I switch to the section that's in ARMS instead? Thanks for any help š

Youāll need to launch yourself out of a cannon to make this work. Or maybe some manner of catapult.

Is there a club I can join that can help me with this? Iāll even be a volunteer test subject for their cannons or catapults, I just canāt be late for class!!

Haha no problem! I took gym freshman year in hs then never again. Kinda wish I had enrolled in a workout class, wouldāve made me go more lol

invest in an electric skateboard! purdue has been so very open to students using them, they even have signs encouraging students to bring them into their classes
but you'll still just barely make it from cl50 to univ

yeah! every outlet you see in public is actually just for charging electric skateboards
make sure you get the extra explosive ones so that youre faster

No I had 2 classes in bhee last semester and failed the second one on attendance because it took too long to get there. Having a veo premium subscription is an absolute must for any students who want to make it to class at purdue

Or just bring your own bike/scooter, free and guaranteed transportationā¦ so long as it doesnāt end up in a tree

You can easily avoid that by locking it to a park bench. The kind folks from the police department will take it and safely store it for you so it doesnt get stolen for a very reasonable price

Well if you dont lock it itāll climb a tree. Bikes like purdueās trees for some reason. Maybe they evolved in west lafayette then migrated to the rest of the world

About the Veos, will there be any outside CL50 for me to take to UNIV? Is there a good path between the buildings that won't have a lot of students?

Thereās lots of people that leave their first lecture early to make it to their second on time! Not a big deal I promise, but if youāre worried you can email your professor or talk to them in person about it. They canāt legally hold you there!

donāt worry, you can just get a VEO scooter. and donāt worry about people getting in your way, you can just run them over and keep going!

You'll probably need to run an entire whole super-long 70 meters! At this point you may as well join the running club for how much running you'll be doing!

The CL50 professor has a 0 rating on RMP and so does the UNIV professor and all of their reviews say that they still say "The bell doesn't dismiss you, I do." Is that strict by Purdue standards??

I wouldn't worry about it. If they continually keep you too long so that you miss your next class, then you would have a complaint you could take to the department head. But remember they need to clear out of there for the next class as well. They just want to be able to finish their point without everyone getting up when the bell rings. The reviewers are likely overreacting.

CL50 to University Hall is a really short walk, 10 minutes will be plenty enough even if you arenāt a very fast walker

Even worse, I'm a really slow stair-climber š My class is on the 3rd floor, how long does it take to get up the stairs? Is 10 minutes enough to cover that plus the walk??

pack before class ends š„¹ā¤ļøāš©¹ a lot of professors push until the absolute last second, but most of the material in the last 3 minutes are basically useless and are gone over again the next class. just pack early

It is extremely close. It couldn't be closer without it literally being next door. You'll have no issue unless you lollygag.
It's much better to have your classes stacked like that. The worst thing is having three (or more) classes with an hour in between them. It turns 3 hours of class into five hours, with barely enough time to get settled and get anything productive done in between.
