The guy speaking is absolutely hilarious. ā€œWhat IS this? Don’t you have anything better to do?ā€

57

u/pantheruler 48m ago

Could this BE any more wasteful?

With the added amk

810

u/speedyspeedys 1h ago

This is a display of power. The Israeli flags give it away.

343

u/bornsf82 1h ago

Play the victim. While drawing attention towards themselves.

111

u/bornsf82 57m ago

Why is everyone staring at me!? I honestly think they get kick out of rubbing people up the wrong way. Feed off the anger.

You can see how happy the woman is. She loves that people are annoyed at this

310

u/wewerecreaturres 59m ago

Or they could just go out for a jog without the fucking flag and wouldn’t need protection. Not that they should need protection anyways, but when you make yourself a target, don’t be surprised when you get attacked.

13

u/TotallyNotEko 42m ago

it’s still illegal and wrong to attack someone, even if you ā€œmake yourself a targetā€, whatever that means

50

u/wewerecreaturres 40m ago

Of course it is. And I clearly said they shouldn’t be attacked regardless. And you know what making yourself a target in this scenario means. Feelings about the actions of the Israeli government are strong right now, and running around with a flag draped over you - in a country that flag doesn’t belong to - you serves no purpose other than to draw attention.

-37

u/Dry_Dragonfruit3205 28m ago

this but also palestinian flags in the west

37

u/lapsongsouchong 23m ago

Er, they aren't sending police officers to protect those flags though, are they?

-10

u/Dry_Dragonfruit3205 7m ago

my point still stands. the people that fly israel/palestine flags want attention and to start shit. insufferable people

1

u/myplantisnamedrobert 2m ago

"But what was she wearing?"

-88

u/slowfox65 46m ago

Do you use the same ā€œmake yourself a targetā€ argument for a girl in a short skirt getting raped?

25

u/pinesnake 43m ago

The girl in the short skirt with a swastika tattooed on her forehead. The skirt and their gender have nothing to do with it.

-41

u/TotallyNotEko 40m ago

does the swastika mean it’s okay to rape them?

11

u/pinesnake 28m ago

FYI, Nazis are a protected group according to Reddit automated moderation šŸ˜‚ Imma dip out of this thread before I get my account banned šŸ™„

4

u/AevilokE 7m ago

When someone wants to eradicate you and everyone who looks like you, it's ok to fucking punch them.

Tolerance is a social contract, a peace treaty. If you're not being peaceful towards me or my friends, I'm not gonna be fucking peaceful towards you.

→ More replies (2)

25

u/wewerecreaturres 38m ago edited 23m ago

No, because they aren’t the same thing. These two know exactly how people feel about the actions of their government, and yet choose to make a scene anyways. And waste government resources in the process.

9

u/MadAsTheHatters 33m ago

A better comparison would be running around a safari route with meat tied to you, like they don't need to be doing that and they're actively making life harder for themselves to make a point

4

u/ignoreme010101 20m ago

I should be able to safari with red meat accessories all I want!

-25

u/ResponsibleWin1765 30m ago

No, it's exactly the same thing. Women also don't need to be wearing skirts and doing so makes life harder for themselves.

It's honestly scary how quickly you people switch up on your morals whenever it suits you.

12

u/MadAsTheHatters 27m ago

My point is that wearing a skirt isn't a political statement, wearing an Israeli flag while out jogging absolutely is. I'm not saying they can't do it, clearly they're able to do exactly what they want, I'm saying that they're very aware that they're being controversial.

5

u/Torvite 19m ago

Skirts aren't a national symbol or a call for division. National flags are national symbols, and the only reason to parade yours around in another country during heightened international tensions surrounding your country's leadership... is that you want to provoke people, hence the police escort.

It'd be something else if it were a sporting event where Israel was participating, but it's not.

3

u/Lorantec 10m ago

Its literally not comparable at all you dolt. The Israeli flag stands for apartheid and genocide, a skirt does not, hope i sorted out that confusion for you.

4

u/Lorantec 16m ago

Zios and whataboutism, name a greater pair.

-64

u/Jechto 47m ago

but when you make yourself a target, don't be suprised when you get attacked.

Why are we blaming the victim here. You should be able to jog with whatever legal flag you have israel or palestian.

I still think the police presense is a bit absurd.

36

u/pinesnake 44m ago

The victim being the out and proud Israeli...? Next you'll be telling us how oppressed Neonazis are šŸ˜µā€šŸ’«

-24

u/Jechto 36m ago

You can be proud of being israeli without agreeing with the genocide. Just like you can be proud american without agreeing with donald trump.

People in this thread, that say that if you wear an israeli flag you make yourself a target for violence and compare them to neonazies are the reason there is police presense around anyhing israeli in europe.

So if you wish to for police to stop protecting random israeli civilians, stop threatning them and focus your anger on people in charge in israel.

15

u/pinesnake 32m ago

Approval ratings for the genocide in Israel are high. They are not unwilling bystanders, they are proud supporters. I would bet money that the person running in the video would confirm his support for the genocide, blame Hamas or something.

9

u/denbolula 25m ago

Israel committing a genocide is the reason Israelis are hated, not the people calling out the genocide.

Always the victim.

45

u/lady_mont 56m ago

I donā€˜t get it. Who are they and why ???!!!

20

u/cheapdrinks 41m ago

Yeah like what’s the go, do they call the police and request this? Are they just two completely random people? Is it some kind of protest jog or something? Like surely you can’t just call up and be like ā€œyo I’m going to the shops and wearing my Israeli flag today, please send 5 cruisers to accompany meā€

21

u/Big_VladdyP 51m ago

Zwei Israelis

5

u/lady_mont 48m ago

133

u/Cy3nide 1h ago

Imagine the lil rat had to leave the flag at home. There's a pretty anti-semitic thought.

59

u/grey-zone 52m ago

Now do it with a Palestinian flag in Tel Aviv.

34

u/BenderRodriguez14 41m ago

Fuck that, just do it with a Palestinian flag on that very same street in Germany and see how long it takes for those very same police officers to assault and arrest you.Ā

9

u/alzgh 43m ago

Just recently they attacked an Israeli citizen (whose brother is an IDF pilot) for speaking Arabic in the bus.

Western fetish for Israeli bigotry and crimes is crazy.

13

u/Faultybeeftrigger 1h ago

It comes to something when you can't drape yourself in the flag of a rogue state for a nice jog.

15

u/Juus 38m ago

Without any proper context, I assume this is a planned "demonstration" with very few attendees. Don't always believe reddit headlines.

91

u/Apprehensive-Unit268 1h ago

They actualy own all the western countries to some degree.

12

u/TildaTinker 42m ago

The don't own shit in New Zealand.

1

u/justadubliner 17m ago

NZ doesn't kowtow as much as it's neighbour does but it hasn't recognized The State of Palestine and there was the ousting of Chlƶe Swarbrick. Every country does a balancing act - probably more to avoid repercussions from the US. But the UK, Australia and Canada certainly have been wholly owned subsideries of the US based Zionism R US for decades if not generations.

-1

u/GMX2PT 15m ago

NZ, the famous western country

68

u/justadubliner 47m ago

Not Ireland. And they deeply, deeply hate us for it.

20

u/BonoboUK 38m ago

They hate you because they know you suffered more than they currently suffer, and it hasn't poisoned your people to call for genocide.

3

u/Mad-Dog94 38m ago

Can I come?

0

u/SgtCrayon 12m ago

You are always welcome on any part of this island.

0

u/jake_burger 33m ago

I envy you. Meanwhile in the rest of the UK we have to follow the ā€œkayfabeā€ that if you don’t wholeheartedly support the genocide then you are antisemitic.

-5

u/nosk1975 38m ago

You don’t seriously believe this do you?

4

u/nosk1975 21m ago

I’m not suggesting that Israel doesn’t hate the Irish people for their defence of Palestine, but the Irish state has deep economic ties to Israel, and has continued to be one of their primary trading partners throughout the war, including duel use military technologies. The idea that Ireland is free from Israeli influence is delusional and undermines your own position.

1

u/JizzumBuckett 9m ago

including duel use military technologies.

Can you expand on this?

1

u/nosk1975 6m ago

Typically software services that are used by the military, not direct weapons sales

3

u/justadubliner 30m ago

You've no idea!

-3

u/5socks 30m ago

Yeah we're just at their mercy for our the vast amount of tax income and our economy would do so well without the huge tech companies...

3

u/justadubliner 25m ago

We don't fire people from journalism, universities, schools, tech companies, hospitals etc for criticizing Israel or for supporting BDS. Try saying that about any other English speaking western country.

This is that sweet antisemitism I lounge for. "They" control. Straight outta "Mein Kampf". Congrats genius.

1

u/ignoreme010101 17m ago

ya next theyll say zionisfs have outsized media control or something, or maybe that there are many american zionists who seem more concerned with another state's welfare, or...yknow what nm

1

u/Analboert 12m ago

Maybe don't equate Zionism to Judaism and Israel with the country of every Jewish person out there. It is factual that antisemitism is on the rise again and that is something that requires action to be taken against but at the same time Zionism is rampant as well. Israel and Mossad are proven to have used false flags on many occasions and the connection to Epstein although not fully proven and the genocidal and apartheid nature of the Israeli Government and perhaps even State are rightfully so open to criticism and equating that criticism to antisemitism is wrong and not helping victims of antisemitic actions in countries that aren't Israel.

They think supporting Israel's current genocide will excuse their past genocide.

-19

u/TotallyNotEko 40m ago

there was an Austrian statesman who said something almost identical back in the day

24

u/IronPotato3000 51m ago

Germany is like that over-correcting friend that goes way too far into the correction that it's just cringe at this point.

0

u/AevilokE 4m ago

No that's just a convenient story for their media. The truth is that even most antisemites are extremely pro Zionism because wanting Jews to migrate out of Europe is seen a huge win for them.

And if they massacre millions of Arabs while doing so, that's even better in the eyes of Nazis.

15

u/OptionalQuality789 34m ago

Jogging in the bike lane? I see they’re experts at taking over areas not intended for them.

5

u/PHIL004007 28m ago

Ohne Polizeischutz geht es in Berlin nicht du Genie. Sollte jeden Berliner betroffen machen.

12

u/thenerdwrangler 45m ago

Why the fuck are they jogging in the bike lane?

8

u/RickC174 45m ago

I think so that the police can stay within range lol

6

u/BaDaBumm213 32m ago

Probably an approved demonstration with pro-israel context. It's obvious that this kind of event will get police protection.

1

u/myplantisnamedrobert 0m ago

Stop being reasonable on the Internet, you'll scare people.

14

u/Jstrangways 56m ago

Genocidal jogging

2

u/MisterPrig 4m ago

Deutschland ist mittlerweile ja so ein Witz…

5

u/SemiDiSole 24m ago edited 18m ago

Have these two by any chance registered a demonstration?

I mean they could do that. They would probably get assigned protection during that time, because even if you dislike what they are doing, they have a right to not be harmed for merely running around with a flag on their back.

Based on the way the person who is recording is speaking, I do assume they are walking through a financially weaker neighbourhood, likely inhabited by a not-insignificant muslim population. So that would probably explain why the police is there.

Edit: Why am I being downvoted? I am just guessing what is happening here, because yall are suprised. Bruh.

-6

u/RickC174 22m ago

What could that message be? Look at us, we’re jogging.

5

u/SemiDiSole 21m ago

Probably something along the lines of "We are here and not backing down", I dunno. Go ask them.

Or they are trying to bait an attack, I am just guessing.

1

u/Tyrone-Fitzgerald 2m ago

Someone in a community im in recently did a bike ride across Ukraine to spread awareness. Just him. Nothing grand. Just riding his bike and sharing it. That persons guess isnt unreasonable.

5

u/ferozpuri 23m ago

What a mockery of privilege over degrading others and playing victim when confronted.

6

u/Unhappy_Credit_6848 1h ago

"Zwei izrealis, joggen." I dont know why I found that so funny

4

u/Futanari-Farmer 34m ago

Well, why do you think they're doing that?

5

u/norgiii 55m ago

The way that the German state, government, media and social elite are uncritically enabling all of Israels bullshit just gets more and more frustrating. The rhetoric used in the media is maddening. I don't even live there anymore. Can't imagine how i would feel if i still was.

4

u/Callumpi 26m ago

They are sending a message, is not just jogging

4

u/spicystar4u 59m ago

How sad Germany never learned from their past

1

u/WiscoMitch 46m ago

Neither country has.

4

u/BlackUnicornUK 37m ago

Part of the budget was promised to them 1000s of years ago.

2

u/Tornisteri 27m ago

That seems to be Kottbusser Damm in Berlin. That is where that Hayatra restaurant is located. BMW Berlin Marathon was on Sunday 27 September, and it ran along that street.Ā

Presumably this is related to the marathon. More context would be needed to determine whether this is something unusual, whether the security was specifically for the two Israelis here, and whether this proves that Israel is enacting supreme control over the state of Germany.

0

u/Charming-Account2226 45m ago

I just don’t get it… how is the German public ok with this

15

u/RickC174 43m ago

A lot of our elders don’t care at all. Their biggest problem is immigrants.

As for the young, every time we do protest or do anything, we get arrested. for anti-SemitismLol

1

u/youuuuwish 35m ago

So what would happen if someone was jogging with a Palestinian flag? Would they also be protected like this or arrested for antisemitism?

8

u/bslawjen 26m ago

They would be protected as long as it's an approved demonstration.

2

u/youuuuwish 23m ago

Makes sense

8

u/TranslatorNo164 25m ago

Nothing would happen.

There are peopling hanging out palestinian flags out of their windows and nothing happens. If you would do that with an Israeli flag, some people would attack your home…

1

u/youuuuwish 24m ago

Gotcha

1

u/TranslatorNo164 17m ago

What do you want to tell me?

1

u/youuuuwish 17m ago

What do you mean?

1

u/youuuuwish 14m ago

sorry, I meant i got you... american English slang for i understand... but it probably came off like "ha, gotcha!" That's my fault. Sorry for the misunderstanding

9

u/Zottelbude 31m ago

Our problem is not two people running around with the flag of a state, that behaves more than questionable. Our problem is, that there are people out there, who would attack them. We need to get rid of these people, not the ones carrying the flag. I expect everyone to be able to roam around Western Europe with any (legal) flag of choice. And I expect everyone thrown out of the country, who cannot accept that.

-1

u/Bighead7889 20m ago

So what would you think of two people running with a palestinian flag then ?

3

u/Zottelbude 18m ago

That they support Palestine. They have every right to do that.

1

u/Bighead7889 17m ago

At lests you don’t fall into double standards and kudos to you for that.

But how would the authorities react ?

2

u/Zottelbude 13m ago

They let them walk around. The Palestinian flag is not forbidden in Western European countries. Why should authorities care? You can see lots of Palestinian flags all across Europe, no one cares.

-1

u/Bighead7889 12m ago

Well here in France, a lot of people associate the palestinian flag with POS terrorists from Hamas. People are arrested daily for there support for the palestinian cause. I’m not even exagerating

2

u/Zottelbude 7m ago

Can you provide one serious source for people peacefully waiving a Palestinian flag getting arrested?
My experience is, that there are a lot of idiots among people supporting Palestine (same as for people supporting Israel), means they tend to do things, that are just forbidden (antisemitism, vandalising, fighting authorities,...)

u/Bighead7889 1m ago

Darmanin even went as far as saying Benzema was a muslim brother because of a tweet against the Genocide in Gaza. The same benzema who, maybe a pos in his own rights, lives in Saudi where being affiliated with the muslim brotherhood is a capital crime.

And those are just a few cases i can think of while taking a smoke break at work.

Is germany that bought out by israel that they are actively protecting Israelis specifically rather than helping their own people?

1

u/speedymaus1 41m ago

Classic Berlin

-2

u/TonyTheTerrible 44m ago

Sorry that you feel certain protections fall outside the budget.

-29

u/lucius-vorenius 1h ago

F germany. they need another flag planted in berlin just like 1945.

2

u/bslawjen 1h ago

Fuck off with that Nazi shit

19

u/SuprA1141 59m ago

My dawg, I'm pretty sure he's referencing the soviet union placing the Soviet Flag on top of the Reichstag (A extremely famous picture of 1945 Berlin)

5

u/lucius-vorenius 56m ago

good to see some people still have brains.

-10

u/bslawjen 49m ago

So you're calling current Germans Nazis because they support a Jewish state? Do you realize that's something the Nazis would never support, lmao?

2

u/quicklycutyourcake 37m ago

oddly, you don't seem to know your history.... Nazi Germany absolutely supported the racist Zionist project.

1

u/bslawjen 32m ago

If you're talking about the Havara agreement, more "moderate Nazis" (as crazy as that sounds) saw that as a solution for the "Jewish problem" but they never supported Zionism as well. Besides, the main reason for the agreement was an economic one anyway, and it was hugely unpopular among Nazi inner circles (and Hitler himself was pretty iffy about it). Hence why they switched to the extermination of Jews instead. Hence why they would loathe the current Israeli state since they project power into the world.

1

u/quicklycutyourcake 26m ago

2

u/bslawjen 23m ago

Literally nothing in the article disagrees with what I just wrote. I would actually engage in discussion instead of trying to rattle of talking points, just a suggestion.

-12

u/bslawjen 50m ago

Doesn't make sense because that would mean he's calling current Germans Nazis for supporting a Jewish state.

2

u/quicklycutyourcake 38m ago

hi. it's 2026. we don't do "states" based on religion or old family ownership anymore. Thank you for your attention to the matter.

0

u/bslawjen 36m ago

Yeah, the Nazis would disagree with that. They would see Israel as a Jewish state that needs to be eradicated.

1

u/quicklycutyourcake 35m ago

maybe learn some history... Nazis absolutely loved the Zionist project.

0

u/bslawjen 30m ago

Maybe learn some history yourself instead of talking points.

1

u/quicklycutyourcake 24m ago

https://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-5072424,00.html

in case you didn't read it from my other comment.

1

u/bslawjen 19m ago

This article doesn't disagree with my statement, in case you didn't read my other comment.

3

u/justadubliner 43m ago

Calling them Nazis for supporting a colonialist supremacist ethno apartheid state committing genocide would be pretty 'history repeating itself' though. Germany together with the US and UK are the Trifecta of Genocide Facilitation.

1

u/bslawjen 36m ago

Nazis aren't just guys that support a colonialist supremacist ethno state; they specifically support one for what they call "Aryan people".

1

u/justadubliner 29m ago

Same difference

9

u/yekcowrebbaj 57m ago

If the flag was planted in 1945 that would be the year Germany lost…

-5

u/bslawjen 50m ago

So he's calling current Germans Nazis because..... they support the Jewish state?

0

u/quicklycutyourcake 36m ago

you keep saying "Jewish state" uppercase "J", lowercase "s"... in case you missed the memo, it's 2026 and we don't do that shit anymore. Please evolve.

0

u/bslawjen 31m ago

Pretty sure you do that in English grammar.

0

u/quicklycutyourcake 25m ago

nope. The State is the subject, the "jewish" is the adjective.

1

u/bslawjen 20m ago

??? Subject doesn't mean "written with a capital letter". Languages, nationalities and religions are capitalized. It's not the "canadian state" it's the "Canadian state"; it's not the "catholic church", it's the "Catholic church"; it's not the "dutch language" it's the "Dutch language". This is simply grammar.

1

u/norgiii 54m ago

Might as well replace the german falg with the Israeli flag

0

u/drmanhattan53 37m ago

Does anyone have a real explanation on what is going On?

4

u/bslawjen 27m ago

Probably some sort of demonstration or similar so they get police protection.

-27

u/Cold_Neon 48m ago

Well, stop attacking random israelis, and this will stop. Although I dont think this was a normal run.
Either this is a race of some kind or they are idiots wanting attention.

-10

u/TonyTheTerrible 44m ago

Seen plenty of videos of Israeli tourists being denied services or just generally harassed just because they're from the country, not even displaying any kind of pride or flag. Bad actors will always take advantage of a situation

-7

u/Zinedshinobi 33m ago

No it's not. The police are there to protect those two, it's their job. We all know these two would get attacked on sight running around with that. Is walking around with an Israeli flag these days absolutely stupid? Yes it is, but also irrelevant to those policemen.

2

u/NudaVeritas1 30m ago

I mean it's kind of the modern equivalent of running around with a nazi flag

1

u/JimmyTheFox93 30m ago

Their job is to protect Israelis… having a jog? I wish I had access to any form of protection when I’m assaulted or my house is broken into, I must be from the wrong country for the police work package though!

0

u/Zinedshinobi 13m ago

I will assume those are German citizens, in which case it's the police's job to keep them safe. No matter how stupid or provocative they are.

-1

u/bslawjen 27m ago

It's probably an approved demonstration, not just two Israelis jogging about randomly having an Israeli flag. Since it's an approved demonstration they need police protection.

0

u/Quiet-Weight4626 20m ago

So anyone who wants a couple of free bodyguards can just get an israeli flag? I think we found the solution to womens safety issues.

1

u/Zinedshinobi 14m ago

In practice yeah? The situation is as stupid as it gets, but it's the police's job to keep em safe.

0

u/lost_caus_e 37m ago

Oh no a bike cop

0

u/keifape 23m ago

It seems nuts to me that most of the countries with ties to Israel have the right wing crazies on the rise. I understand (don’t agree with) the U.S. and its ā€œneedā€ for Israel as a power in the area to ā€œstabilizeā€ the Middle East, but even that’s a joke otherwise the orange blumpkin who should have been swallowed would be fucking with Iran and the Straight of Hormuz.

What stake do other countries have with Israel having any amount of power?

1

u/togulcannn 17m ago

Even USA does not need israel as they have dozens of military bases in the region. As a matter of fact, it is Israel that makes the region unstable.

0

u/_grey_wall 19m ago

They are probably diplomats

-2

u/RickC174 18m ago

What’s diplomat in his right mind? would run around like this, like a crazy person

-23

That’s the world in which we live these days. It should not be necessary.

10

Honestly I think people underestimate how bad the Holocaust was and how much guilt a lot of countries carry for allowing it to go on for as long as it did.

I’m pretty sure they straight up killed 40% of all the Jews in the world during World War 2. That’s a crazy number of people.

For reference only 4% of Gaza’s total population was killed during the last few years of the Gaza War. It’s all tragic but I think people have a hard time comprehending the scale of things.

Yes, but when its people openly dehumanize its victims in support of violence, it has to be beyond that.

This is the failure of wider society where just professing your faith and political opinions is dangerous, your agreement or disagreement is not relevant

They aren’t expressing their faith. There is nothing about religion here. They’re draping themselves in the flag of a country committing a horrific genocide in a sign of solidarity and support.

Germany should be especially aware of the dangers of allowing fascism under the guise of free political expression.

This isn't a person expressing their faith, it's a person supporting a genocide. It's antisemitic to assert that displaying an Israeli flag is a support of Judaism, as Israel does not speak for nor represent the Jewish community.

How often do people waving Palestinian flags get such protection from people who may want to assault them?

Would you consider it a failure of a society if someone has to be police protection because they go around boasting about their murderous friends back home and that gets them beat?
