i really hope i will live to see an age of AI being used to make actual video game AI better. imagine strategy games where the computer does not play with cheats and with basic scripted logic but using actual AI.

yea iirc the robots do some sort of dynamic movement when shot, but i dont think thats AI based

I don’t know my friend told me they adapt to learn your hiding spots and fighting style and hunt you down. I’m not really sure I don’t play

While i think that's true, it's not generative ai but other technologies. I don't know if anyone has used generative ai for npc behaviours effectively yet, it just doesn't seem fit for the task
