i really hope i will live to see an age of AI being used to make actual video game AI better. imagine strategy games where the computer does not play with cheats and with basic scripted logic but using actual AI.
We do have games that do that, but it can be hard. The issue doesn't require AI to fix though, it just requires some devs to be less lazy with how they plan their game. AO2 is an old game but the AI doesn't cheat resources.
