Games made by single devs still trying to learn, get completely review bombed if they use placeholder assets or mentioning using AI generated code, but there's games like this that are doing just fine? To be clear I don't like AI either, but I find it funny how people act around these tools.
No one is complaining about using AI to have smart NPCs. People complain about using AI to generate soulless dialogue, voice acting, characters, and shitty ripoffs of other games. Like what did you want the indie dev to do? Program an AI that can follow instructions?
