While you can easily get a reasonably priced $1000 gaming PC with an RTX 5060 Ti like this one (Option 5), look at the alternatives:
In this lineup, XOTIC PC is by far the worst offender in terms of overpricing. And please, don't fall for the trap of thinking a higher price tag equals higher quality, it doesn't.
Prebuilt PC brands don’t really matter, they're assemblers, not manufacturers. They don't make the core components like GPUs or CPUs. They simply buy parts from the real makers (Intel, AMD, NVIDIA, ASUS, Gigabyte, Zotac, etc.) and put them together, just like building with Lego. A higher price usually just means a bigger profit margin for them, not a better PC.
Gamers in the US have been getting ripped off for nearly a decade.
Any other brands to add to the list?

First time buyer, never had a gaming PC before but I love gaming!
I’m looking for a gaming desktop and could use some advice. Budget is $1,600–$2,100 for the tower, but I’d rather stay toward the lower end and put the savings toward a good monitor.
I mainly want to:
I’m hoping to get around six years out of it before having to upgrade. Minecraft (and other less demanding games like Repo) are the most important to me. Looking for at least 32GB DDR5 and preferably a 2TB SSD. I’m in Waco, Texas, and can drive to Dallas or Houston or College Station or Austin for something worth the trip.
Two local options I’ve been considering are a 7800X3D/RTX 5070/32GB DDR5/2TB build for $1,500 and a 9800X3D/9070 XT/32GB DDR5/2TB build that might be around $1,900. Both are used. Would you spend the extra money for my use, or is the cheaper one already plenty?
And is Facebook Marketplace a reasonable way to save money if I test the PC first, or would you stick with a retailer for the warranty and returns? What would you check before handing someone that much money?
Any specific prebuilts or current deals you’d recommend over those? I’m open to Nvidia or AMD and don’t care much about RGB.
Also, what’s your take on waiting? Do you think prices could come down meaningfully over the next year or two? Black Friday is close enough that I could wait, but I’m wondering whether there’ll actually be good deals or whether the worthwhile stuff will just sell out immediately.

Hi everyone,
I’m looking to buy my first gaming PC and have narrowed it down to three prebuilts on Amazon UK. I’d appreciate some advice on which offers the best performance and value for money.
PC 1 – £849
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5700X (8 cores, 16 threads, up to 4.6GHz)
GPU: NVIDIA RTX 5060 8GB
RAM: 16GB DDR4
Storage: 1TB NVMe SSD
Platform: AM4
OS: Windows 11
PC 2 – £889
CPU: Intel Core i5-12400F (6 cores, 12 threads, up to 4.4GHz)
GPU: NVIDIA RTX 5060 Ti 8GB
RAM: 16GB
Storage: 1TB NVMe SSD
Platform: LGA1700
OS: Windows 11
PC 3 – £1,059
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5700X (8 cores, 16 threads, up to 4.6GHz)
GPU: NVIDIA RTX 5060 Ti 8GB
RAM: 16GB DDR4
Motherboard: A520M
Storage: 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD
Case: Black Prism Panoramic with 3 RGB fans
Connectivity: Wi-Fi 5 and Ethernet
Platform: AM4
What I’m looking for
My main priority is averaging around 150 FPS at 1080p competitive settings in games like Warzone, ideally without relying on frame generation.
I’ll also be playing Fortnite, GTA, EA FC, Football Manager and some emulated games.
I’d like at least 60 FPS in demanding single-player games and a PC that lasts 3–4 years without major upgrades.
My questions
Which of these three PCs offers the best overall performance and value for money?
Is PC 3 worth the extra £170 over PC 2?
Are there any better prebuilt PCs in the UK around £850–£1,000 that would meet my requirements?
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

I'm ready to upgrade my PC and have a budget of around $3,500 max. I'm specifically looking for a prebuilt and would love some recommendations before I pull the trigger.
My minimum specs are:
One thing that matters to me more than it probably does to some people: aesthetics. If I'm spending $3k+, I want the PC to actually look premium. I prefer a clean, adult-looking build with tasteful RGB that I can set to one color rather than an over-the-top rainbow gaming PC.
I've looked at quite a few options already. The Corsair Vengeance A7500 caught my attention because I really like its overall appearance and component presentation. I've also been considering the PowerSpec G765 because there's a Micro Center near me, it's cheaper, and having local support if something goes wrong is a pretty big advantage.
But I'm not limiting myself to those two. They're just examples of what I've been considering.
If you had up to $3,500 to spend today on a 9800X3D + RTX 5080 prebuilt, what would you buy?
I'm especially interested in builds/companies that have:
I'm fine ordering online and waiting for the right PC, so it doesn't necessarily have to be something I can pick up immediately.
Would love to see some specific recommendations, especially from people who recently bought a 5080 prebuilt in this price range.

I'm pretty new to this, looking at prebuilts after discovering that I picked the worst time ever to try and build a PC. I found this using Toprigz from the pinned guide, so I guess it's probably fine, but I wanted to check anyway. I see reviews of people complaining about them shutting down pretty quick, but is that a brand specific thing or something you can fix yourself if need be?
I also see there's a £40 difference between the one with the 5060 and the 5060ti. Is it worth getting the latter? I'm aiming for 1080p/60fps on most games plus some emulation.
Also does it matter what kind of monitor I get? I'm not looking for anything crazy.
Apologies if this is the wrong place to post.

Looking to get a prebuilt 5070 ti gpu with a 9800 xd. I’ve found these two builds, and can’t seem to gauge which one might get the upper hand. They both have the same specs, which one would you choose?
The one on Newegg is a bit cheaper when you make the AI link a 2tb upgrade. Just seeing if anyone has either of these computers or has any input. Thanks in advance!

I am looking for a prebuilt that will be able run GSPro or Pureplay in 1080p smoothly. Budget would be $1,300.00.

Currently looking to buy a desktop to replace my current laptop and unsure of what to go for.
My main usecase for the machine would be gaming.
The two different models I am looking at are an Acer build selling at just under 2000$ and a Stomcraft Skyhawk for 2700$.
I understand there is a large variation in the prices of these two models, but from what I can tell, the actual components are not too different in actual performance. It just seems like the Nvida GPU, case, and extra storage are the main difference. Any assistance with picking a model would be great! (Or recommendations in the price range.)

Ive had a 2015 macbook pro for 11 years, but its is at its end of life. It needs repairs, maintenance, etc. that will cost significantly more than its worth.
My first thought was a new MacBook or a comparable laptop. Funny thing is... I don't go to school, for work I get a Work Laptop PC. I haven't taken my laptop out of my house in YEARS. So after some talk with friends im thinking a pre-built entry level PC might be the way to go.
To start off im not in it for a 10k pc setup. My budget is closer to 2500-3k all in. I'd prefer to go on the lower end or even lower if possible.
My needs aren't crazy, i don't do anything that is overly demanding. But this is what I want - 2 decent monitors ideally, minimum 1T ssd, minimum 24GB RAM. As for the more technical stuff Im just not educated on it all yet. I will learn more as time goes on, any tips or resources appreciated. Longer term id like to make upgrades myself, I don't want to be stuck with another potato.
What are some good vendors? Who/what should I avoid? What can I realistically expect for my price range? What are some aspects I can cheap out on, what are others that are worth splurging on?

Haven't built a pc since 2008 so im out of the loop. Im looking for a prebuilt for wow forever that wouldn't lag in raids (can turn down specs if needed). Budget would be around 1500usd, less the better so my wife doesn't kill me. 🤣
