These Russian bot farms have been interfering with Western democracies for at least a decade, and were well-document by the 2018 Senate Intelligence Committee report to have massively propagandized American social media to help Donald Trump get elected in 2016, thus ushering in the last decade of chaos and division and the Right-wing takeover of much of the West.
Zelensky has done the world a favor it could not manage to do on its own.

Unfortunately with every piece of news now I must ask myself three questions:
Who does this benefit/hurt if it’s true?
Who does this benefit/hurt if it’s misinformation?
Which one is more likely?I was leaning towards misinformation because it seems like something pretty difficult to verify but would spread quickly given the political timing.

I wish there was more information available on this. The BBC Verify article you linked says they were shown information by dTeam proving that misinformation bots were still active, but they don't show that information and I can't seem to find any other information on dTeam outside of the BBC.

Don't get me wrong, it's been lovely without them. But this is a temporary respite, at best.
Knocking out their ability to continue to wage a decades long literal war against the whole world with no response or fighting back does remove what is maybe their most powerful weapon. But what are the time estimates as to when they will be back?
Out of curiosity, what are the material effects the Russians are facing on the ground for regular people? Do normal people there still have internet access, albeit maybe limited? Did it affect the banking sector?
You know, I think I'll just look it up to read some more about it lmao. Still...saving our democracy? Oh bless their heart...

Keep an eye out moving forward everyone. If someone comments under you and has what amounts to an anti-human rhetoric, check how long they've been active online. I think we just got a hard reset on all the b.o.ts (it's literally telling me not to say that word*), so their account age should be on the order of days or about a week at this point. Click on their page if you suspect a clanker and investigate. I'm tired of seeing people devolve into arguments with these non-humans.

I am concerned that this messaging is a psy op. Yes it does appear that these data centers were taken off line.
However, there are 20 different versions of this message going around right now. I have seen some random graphs and whatnot but not anything that I would really say is definitive evidence of this.
It seems advantageous for the Nazis to make us think that their bot network is down so that we underestimate them and think that everything is fine going into the elections.
We need to be vigilant. Musk is working with Trump to steal this election too.

It's actually Reddits fault. IIRC, when you make a new account they give you a random generated name in that format. It's been a while, but I recall that being the case.
And I chose that style on purpose. I wanted to do Eve corp style infiltration into bot groups by pretending to be one of them (as if they wouldn't immediately know I'm not with them, lol)
