Ive been convinced since 2020 that most of the "voices" on the right are fabrications. If you take a step back it is no different than the strategy they used on fox news. Just have a bunch of people say something (regardless of whether it's true or not) and you will automatically gain real people that repeat it.
This is how they manufacture consensus and populism on the right.
Yeah I was, you're right it was earlier. On the other hand it's a little different. I always felt like TD didnt take itself seriously. Like it wasnt trying to hide it's bias in the same way. It was just overtly biased. But youre right also bot driven.
Reddit is the most left wing space most users will ever encounter. I find it too much at times and I'm a Labour voter. It's preposterous to think that an enclave of right wing voters exists here, surrounded by millions of criticisms of everything they believe. Who would put themselves through that?
IMO the conservative sub exists to reinforce the biases of the left wing users. Because just like right wing don't come to Reddit for their news, left wing don't go to Fox. How can the fires of division be stoked if neither side encounters the others viewpoint? You invent the viewpoint and you put it amongst the side you want to influence. That's what's happening here IMO.
And if that's true, it might follow that an equivalent thing is going on in real right wing spaces.

I'm convinced that majority of Republicans/Maga on reddit are bots.
