I wish every Democrat would stop treating Republicans like they are civil or sane, and hit them exactly as hard, verbally, as they do to us.

It's about time.

Especially with how dumb they are. They need to be mocked for the mental children they are.

Hell, they can’t even handle if they’re simply being called weird.

Walz had it best by calling them “weird”. That really got under their skins.

It really really did. Why did they drop that messaging? DNC tell him they had to take the high road or something?

IIRC someone close to the Harris campaign told them it was mean and would turn off voters.

AIPAC made the call

Probably because getting under their skin is not the primary goal of political communication.

Political communication doesn't matter anymore when one side can just make shit up or refuse to answer any questions. Taking the high road worked so well for the Harris campaign.

Think the goal of "political communication" kind of jumped out the window when McCain died, and everyone else fell in line.

Yes, the man was a conservative much as the present band of schmucks in office. But him not being a complete *ss was his saving grace.

Jesus Christ all you Americans are batshit. You really just do not ever hear yourselves.

Disagree. Democrats displaying poise, confidence and integrity is enough of a black and white contrast from the other side that there is no need to stoop to that level.

American politics need an enema, not more shit.

He's from Texas, what did you expect?

There's a reason why so many Texan voters like him, and it's not just because he's willing to speak truth to power in the simplest, most obvious ways possible.

Our local GOP candidate refuses to debate because he knows his positions are indefensible.

"Proof of Spine" My brother in Christ, that was a such a sick burn. The devil himself said "Oh snap!"

9

u/Responsible-Club9120 11h ago

Oh BURN!

I'm a Canadian and I love this guy. Hope he wins

10

u/SereneKittenn 11h ago

"proof of spine" is CRAZY lmao. He ate him up with that one.

7

u/Late-Assignment8482 11h ago

Damn, James. You don't have to whip the hog that hard to get its attention...Paxton isn't leaving the slop, though.

Young and smart and just the kind of spunky and witty energy the Democrats need more of!! Texas, you have a great opportunity to elect something special here!

3

u/Desperate-Fold-4689 10h ago

Whoa. Nice comebacks

3

u/Wakkit1988 10h ago

Schedule him an MRI so he can prove he has a spine.

Not a fan of sinking to their level with the name calling and the like. Stick with facts and the truth. They can't beat that. Our senator won't hold town hall meetings cause what is he going to say? That he voted with donnie 100% of the time? We are in a blue state that donnie hates. Do you really think this is what we sent you to office for? Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

11

u/SomeOne111Z 11h ago

Sticking to facts and truth is, by far, the most moral and consistent way to never win against the modern Republican party

10

u/Aromatic_Balls 11h ago

Lmao facts and truth has never worked on Republican voters.

10

u/Strykerz3r0 10h ago

I understand your point, but conservatives still gullibly believe that people were eating pets and they were upset with the networks hosting the debates for fact checking and didn't care that they were being lied to.

7

u/MartySpiderManMcFly 11h ago

So what you’re saying is, when they go low we go high? Yeah that didn’t work obviously

7

u/wrathwind 10h ago

High roading Donny worked real well for Hillary and Kamala…..

6

u/Shenloanne 10h ago

No. Don't be tolerant to intolerance.

u/Material-Truth5457 10h ago

It is 100% factual there is only observation.

It is the truth that Paxton is spineless coward though?
