Trump, Blanche and all the enablers always label everything as "national security" to justify their actions.
Yet Trump's own words reveal they're trying to control the narratives and hide their true actions going into the midterms.
This is a fake cosplay presidency on a crime spree that doesn't govern anything.

Just like W did from 2001-2008…
Funny how it’s always Republicans who think reporting & disseminating the truth is a threat to national security…

That’s a little too tidy.
Bush-era Republicans absolutely attacked the press over national-security reporting. But Democrats weren’t exactly civil-liberties absolutists during the same period either.
In 2001, 145 House Democrats voted for the PATRIOT Act, and it passed the Senate 98–1, with virtually the entire Democratic caucus supporting it.Then in 2008, 105 House Democrats voted for the FISA Amendments Act, which expanded surveillance authority and provided telecom companies a path to retroactive immunity; the Senate passed it 69–28, with Barack Obama voting yes.
And even on the 2006 resolution condemning publication of classified information, 17 Democrats joined 210 Republicans… although, to be fair, the large majority of Democrats voted against it.
So criticize Bush and the Republicans for what they actually did. Absolutely. But “it’s always Republicans” erases a pretty bipartisan post-9/11 record of sacrificing civil liberties in the name of national security.
Extremism and authoritarian bullshit suck regardless of whose jersey it’s wearing.
Boo to purity politics it’s meant to be back and forth

"National Security" has been the GOP battle cry since Nixon. There's a big difference between the Security of the Nation, and the Security of those abusing the nation to keep running (ruining?) it.

Trump is a whiny little man, who cannot stand being asked questions, that he does not like.

Blanche says "and it’s not right for the people of the United States to have to put up with.”
I say they have the freedom to change the channel. CNN is far more accurate and unbiased than Faux Noise.

*yet. I would not be sure if CNN stays this way after the merger.

It’s all part of Project 2025. The Heritage Foundation and Federalist Society have been setting pieces in place for 40+ years.

Oh he’ll have a couple decades after Cheeto is off to meet the bleeding choir invisible … and he will come to learn the price he paid for his soul.

>“I’m sorry, wait, give you an example of when CNN doesn’t report accurately?!” Blanche exclaimed. “You cannot be asking me that! They don’t even disagree. There’s not even a real dispute that the information coming out of CNN and some of these other networks is wholly and completely, almost 100% negative toward the president.”
Yes. One lie please. Any time now.

Very cute. He characterized it as negative, and completely sidestepped whether or not it was accurate.

the lie is that they are reporting “news”. they may be slightly accurate, sometimes not as they all make mistakes, but the spin added to tell people what to think about it is predominantly lies, when it comes to certain subjects.

"... it’s not right for the people of the United States to have to put up with.”
Legally the government / DOJ (same thing these days), have to support their position that CNN et al are publishing news damaging to national security, not that the public has to endure something.
Even Blanche's own words destroy his case.

Blanche is one of the worst of the weirdo sycophants. He is in fact supposed to have separation from the president. Two separate entities. But this regime is so broken and so crooked.
