Discussion Bicycles are not pedestrians!

Bikes are vehicles and are intended to follow the rules of the road. Slamming on your brakes to let a bike cross is not safe or predictable driving. Flipping me off when I use the only mode of communication in a vehicle to notify you of this (a simple honk) is counter productive.

This happened three times in 30 minutes today. That’s it, just needed to vent.

Thanks Portland, I hope you all have a wonderful evening.

Edit: I was just trying to vent a little before I hopped in the shower, I’m so sorry this turned into debate. I posted when I was angry and I shouldn’t have. Slava Ukraine and Free Palestine ✌️

Took this picture at work just as a pocket of fog was rolling in. Sometimes I really appreciate that I work outside.

Ah, loyalty cards ... I might have missed my chance on the free frozen yogurt (and definitely on the Townshend's tea, sadly).

Does any place around town still do punch cards, or is it all apps nowadays?

News Max Accident Near North Interstate & Alberta

I was making breakfast this morning when I suddenly heard a loud bang from my apartment. Looking out my window, I witnessed a car being dragged down the street by a MAX train. Thankfully, everyone got out of the vehicle, and neighbors quickly came together to make sure everyone was safe. From what I understand, the car was attempting to cross the tracks while the traffic light was red.

Her name is Marceline. She’s is a 1 year old 7lb lynx point Siamese with big blue eyes. She has a pink hello kitty collar on with my phone number. Shes skiddish around people. Super enticed by ham. I’ve been moving and she slipped out the door.

Meme This Troy Jackson dude sounds great!

I was just watching the ultimate frisbee championships and saw a slew of political ads. I wasn’t aware that we have a Senate candidate this year running against an entrenched Republican?!!

This Troy Jackson guy seems like a pretty gosh darn good fit for Portland and probably even for other states as well!

I live on the coast, but I just did a trip up to Seattle and I noticed for the first time that I can remember since 2000 that Uncle Sam sign with the usual right wing/conservative Christianesque propaganda, wasn’t there. I didn’t notice it on the drive, but I’m thinking about it now and it wasn’t there. That’s pretty freaking striking.

UPDATE: I'm babysitting the agave until an acquaintance can pick it up tomorrow! 🎉

Trying this again X_x

I found this gorgeous spiney agave just thrown out on the ground, but I don't have space for it. If you want it, bring gloves, it's very pokey.

It's on SW Yamhill St, just a few yards off SW Saint Clair Ave. Laying by the sidewalk. And if you do rescue it, please share pics of it potted up and safe 🥲
