Discussion So what the hell was this about
I just so happened to remember about this room after not having thought about it since the Noise update dropped. Has it ever been explained what the deal is with this giant Peppino robot? My one guess is that it's supposed to tie back to when Peppino was Chef Raider, and used this to fight Pizza Boy a la Rudy the Clown or the giant DK from Donkey Kong '94

With Fake Peppino being referred to as Peppino in Noise's campaign, I'd believe it tbh. I guess maybe they thought The Doise was enough spectacle by itself, and replacing one of the bosses with an entirely new one (an actual fight with Peppino) might have set Noise's campaign apart from Peppino's more than Tour de Pizza was envisioning, so they went with the safer option and kept Fake Peppino as is. It does make me wonder, though, if any concept art exists for specifically the Noise update, some of the ideas used seem far too off the wall to not have any art made for it in advance.

I think fake peppino is refered to as peppino in the campaign because they are trying to trick the "viewers" of the in-universe noise movie that he is fighting peppino

Okay so it's a reference to something McPig said about Peppino. Him playing the bad guy in a game called Pizza Boy Tower.

Probably out of order since it broke and he doesn't have any money to fix it

Since The Noise campaign is a movie, I don't think the Peppino's House design shown is supposed to be canon. That being said, the idea that it might be just an unused prop of Chef Raider without further implications for Peppino himself is very likely

There is this 1 drawing where pizzaboy is defeating a robotic version of peppino (controlled by him).

Yes, you're right. Peppino played the villain in Pizza Boy's show, piloting that robot. But when Peppino had enough money to avoid getting arrested for taxes, he left and Pizza Boy grew into Pizza Head getting bored. And bored. Since there was nothing to do. Other than spend his money. And at the end, he decided to force Peppino back onto the tower of a bit of entertainment and a fight at the end with the roles reversed.

My best guess is that it's a reference to Wario in some way

As far as I know, Waluigi has employed the use of giant robots more than Wario

Do you not have a giant robotic version of yourself next to your bed?
