Meme needing explanation i’m a girl i don’t get this

like why wouldn’t this work. is it cause of the urinals so close to the sink?? or like.. cause idk

It wouldn't work for a few reasons 1. Volume, you likely lose 1-2 toilets/urinals with this layout as it isn't optimising for space 2. Someone walking in the door wouldn't be able to see if a urinal is occupied or not, they'd need to walk up and down the space checking. 3. How do you create lines for either the urinal or toilet ? You'd need to create individual lines behind each, you can't easily make a single file line for the toilets or urinals 4. The position of the mirror means that depending where you are washing your hands you'll be able to see someone using a urinal - which this is trying to solve

2 is the big one. You'd have to push them out so people can see, wasting more space.

That's generally how bathrooms work, yeah. Not sure about making everybody see though. Just flush it when you're done and go about your business.

It's not really a big issue. There's a large public bathroom at the train station near me and the wall of 10 or so urinals all have quite long privacy screens such that when someone is using one you can't actually see them from where you walk in. You just walk down until you find a free one, it's a complete non issue.

Better than a club I go to that has only unisex cubicles with walls that go all the way to the floor. Drunk people constantly forget to lock them so you push open one that says vacant and smack the door into some guy taking a piss or some girl sitting down who screams lol. Then there's the classic thing where a line forms and after 2 or 3 people all come and go from one cubicle you realise the others are all free. Good for doing bumps of coke tho.

Adding to that is the sink placement at the back instead of closer to the door will cause people to ignore it after a piss and now you have a building full of piss handed guys.

also: 5. if the door from the stall opens all the way (like they normally do) the guy in the urinal next to it would be trapped
