China is doing well. Leading in renewable energy. Solar Kings of the Planet and already working on what comes after solar.

China is run by engineers with PhDs. USA is run by clowns and dipshits.

USA is screwed.

The rest of the world (most of it) is moving forward. China is doing so well that USA is talking about how they will bomb China's new high speed trains...and silent AGI data centers...and free healthcare facilities...and inexpensive pharma facilities...and all the nice, futuristic things that Americans want but absolutely are way too stupid to deserve.

America is too busy building a Ballroom, tryna fix a Reflecting Pool (still not repaired), and rename some lakes.

That is how pathetic the USA is right now. Full speed reverse at the most important 10 year period in human history. Republicans!

Are you saying China had an AI model more progressed than OpenAI or Anthropic?

China is still running a coal backbone that they deny but weather satellites have confirmed.

They progress faster in things like manufacturing because they don't care about the ecosystem, just the glory of West Taiwan

Actually, GLM might be neck-to-neck (although that could be a moar-param gimmick).

At this point I’m pretty sure the actual threat-to-humanity isn’t CCP bureaucrats, it’s Altmann, Amodei, Musk, Karp, and (who’s the greedy f*ck who calls his company Anduril? Tolkien would be ashamed)
