Question ❓ What does this noise mean?

My little guy is less than a year old, he was playing with his toy then started making this sound. Is he sad? Lonely? I’ve only had him about a month.

literally JUST grabbed my boy off the windowsill to comfort him because he was making that noise because an albatross flew over
