Season 3 Humor
Watching for the first time and loving that season three added some subtle humor. Finch’s little quips are the best part of this season so far.

maybe this is kind of a dumb question...but i'm wondering if anyone else lost interest in tye action genre because nothing within the action genre tops person of interest. prison break is the only show that comes close in my opinion

Does anybody know how I would be able to translate this code, or is that just gibberish? It’s a screenshot from towards the end of season 2.

People keep saying John is on borrowed time and dying, which implies his life might be limited, but I don't think that's ever actually been confirmed or shown in the show, unless I missed something?

The thing I like about Root's call to Finch in “Deus Ex Machina” is how little she tries to soften it. She doesn't tell him the plan failed or that they need a new strategy. She just says, “Get out of the library, now.” Then she gives him the new identities and tells him to destroy everything else. By that point Root has already accepted that they aren't winning this one. They're surviving it.

Just finished watching this series. I started a couple of months ago and i couldnt stop watching. Typically, im quite a disciplined person, but that didnt stop me from sneaking in a couple of episodes during my midterm revision (and my degree is very demanding). I'm so devastated that this show only lasted five seasons but maybe this is the appropriate amount to make this show a MASTERPIECE. The theme of this series was way ahead of its time now that we have ChatGPT, claude and all. This is easily the best action thriller shows of all time in my book. I'm gonna miss the characters so much. They were so unique and impeccably casted. Not the mention the writting! People of reddit, if you have other bingeworthy shows like this, regardless of the theme, feel free to recommend me!! Damn this show was impressive... what a ride!

So, I was watching an episode of Law & Order: Criminal Intent, and in 1.16, "Phantom," Martine Rousseau actually turns up with Harold Finch.
At least, Cara Buono does, playing Charlotte Fielding, with brunette hair, and Michael Emerson, sans he Finch limp because his character Gerry Rankin is, in fact, a phantom - and the episode's bad guy.

Why is Michael Emmerson so low on the credits list? Looking at IMDB, he always comes in 4th or 5th after Kevin Chapman, Amy Acker (even when she is credit only because she doesn't even act in a certain episode)...
I really don't get it, he should be at least second, i would argue first cast

My favorite part of the last episode was that plot twist scene. Please don't include any spoilers in the comments.

Halfway through my first watch and I just finished 3x9.
PLEASE TELL ME SHE’S NOT DEAD! 😭😭😭
I loved Carter (and Taraji), I’m honestly heartbroken. Especially after everything with her and John this episode.

Why doesnt POI get talked about like BB or BCS? The writing is just as tight and insanely well thought out. My theory is that its not as popular because it started off as episodic network TV and people got bored.
I cant believe I nearly dropped this show like 7 episodes in. After finishing Return 0 I went back and watched the pilot and was like "holy shit, this isnt even the same show anymore"

As i already said i rewatched the whole Show and still love it but there are two things that i don't get, first why were not more Former poi used? I mean we never saw or heart about the Judge or others only a few were activly used and one or two mentioned. The other thing is Brotherhood, everything else was implemented over seasons but Brotherhood just popped into existens that somehow feel a bit lazy but it could also be that because behindert the sceens a lot were Happening.

When it aired, I was in high school, and didn't know a lot about tv series. I have seen some of its reels few month ago, and when I heard AI, it instantly hit my mind as a person doing PhD on AI-stuff. So, I started watching. Then I couldn't stop. I kept watching and just finished final episode... I have been watching many tv series in last few years. But it is one of the BEST, and realistic (yes you heard me right, it is realistic, and you believe it or not, part of it is already happening) series. And I wonder how any person on 2011 can write this real details of AI. And before anyone ruin my excitement, Yes I know many other writers already wrote better description of AI. And I am telling PoI is one of them.
