Question / Problem Will I Continue to Earn Money Over the Next 32 Days?

Hey all, I’ll try to keep this short.

I began YouTube a couple months ago and worked very hard to get monetized. The problem is I decided to use my old YouTube account from nearly 10 years ago, and apparently I set that up as an organization/business account. Big mistake from teenage me.

I deleted that Adsense account but it won’t let me relink to a new Adsense account for 32 days now. If I keep “earning” revenue on YouTube, will I still be able to actually get that money in 32 or so days through AdSense? Or is all the money from the next 32 days just a wash?

I’m also guessing I can’t expedite this process… Any info would be greatly appreciated!

I'll note that you can always reach out to Creator Support in YouTube Studio, or use Ask Studio to ask questions like this.

My understanding is that you don't earn any revenue unless you have an active AdSense account connected to your channel.

Thanks for the info, that’s unfortunately my assumption as well. YouTube Studio has no option for support for me, maybe cause I’m still new-ish. All the support buttons just lead to the typical “view our support docs” pages. I’ll check more tonight when I have the time. Thanks!

ah that sucks, teenage you really set a trap for future you. from what i know youtube holds the revenue for a bit but if there is no adsense linked it just stays in limbo. i had similar thing happen with my old channel, the money from those weeks just disappeared into void. maybe creator support can do something but i would not get my hopes up.

just make sure everything is set up right when the 32 days are done so you dont miss more.
