Talk / Discussion Shorts Channel Dead after New Update
I've been creating content for over 4 years, monetized for more than 2 years. Never have I gotten such low views. And I understand if the content itself is bad but my AVD & Swipe ratio is also good. I can't seem to understand what more could i do here to increase my views. It feels like youtube isn't pushing my shorts after the new update.
About my videos - Movie reviews & critics ( faceless shorts ). I know in the new update they are pushing original shorts and not repetitive. But many channels exactly like me are still working fine and getting decent views. In fact I have 2 channels and both are struggling for views.
I understand you might think it's ai slop but it's not.
Can anyone here help me understand what is happening?

Survival of the fittest. There is no absolute standard that guarantees success. YouTube pulls videos viewers will like and watch and puts it on their feeds. Your videos are only the best option for a small group.

They're cracking down on unoriginal content. You mention movie reviews. Likely they flagged your content as reposting existing content (movies)
