Now, do I think it's gonna be a quick battle like in Top War? Hell no. But I still think Cherno Alpha MIGHT be able to win if it's hardly fought for hours. And as I said, up close. Not from afar

I promise this is not just a post about Cherno Alpha (even though it is one of the Jaegers with some "interesting" characteristics here. Clearly the game dev didn't go by the statcards for the OG Jaegers.

I'll start with explaining the damage system as best I understand it. For those who aren't aware, it seems to be based on just a healthbar with no real durability buffs outside of the insanely hard to get black market items. If you're going by the statcards we have for the OG Jaegers then you'd think this would be relatively straightforward to implement.

So with that in mind, you'd think with Cherno and Striker having an armor rating of 10 on their statcards, both would have the same amount of health in FMKH, but that's not at all the case. Striker has roughly 850 health while Cherno has more like 1850 - roughly twice as much as any other Jaeger I've unlocked in the game so far (and that includes Gipsy Avenger and Hunter Vertigo). I don't have a problem with Cherno having as much health as it does, but it would make sense for Striker to have the same amount (maybe set them both at 1000 and reduce the amount of damage each Kaiju does per hit to compensate?).

This isn't the only weird health level either, because Romeo Blue somehow has less health than Tacit Ronin (345 vs 460).

Not accusing the FMKH dev of being a Cherno or Tacit glazer by any means, just pointing out some things that might be worth considering for your next game if you're reading this.

I myself personally think we most likely will get some more panel art of more of the page Volume 2 of Pacific Rim: Final Breach, when the timeline is made for when it will be done later this month of the month after, and I'm betting money that those will reveal brand new Kaiju in them.

And as I said many times before, I wouldn't be surprised if these new Kaiju are of Category VIII and Category IX, dwarfing even the likes of Quadralith, the Category VII from Volume 1, because "Pacific Rim: Final Breach" is the finale of the Pacific Rim franchise for a good reason.

Therefore, it would only be fitting to have bigger and bigger, and scarier and scarier Kaiju threat to build up to a truly gargantuan, city-sized, world-ending Category X Kaiju that would act as THE final endgame boss of the entire Pacific Rim franchise as a whole.

So try to get ready for what might be coming between the end of this month and the next month.

A while back I asked myself why isn't there a Pacific Rim game and someone told me that there was at one point does anyone know what game they may be talking about and how I can find it?

I've been rewatching Pacific Rim a lot, and I hear everyone say "I wish they made a sequel" but noone ever remembers THEY DID. ITS AN ANIME. (We're ignoring the "Sequel" thats actually just Fan Fiction)

I loved this show so much, why does noone remember it?

Howdy gang. As I said in a short I do really like this sub reddit, its really the only one I keep up with. So I wanted to hear your thoughts on a short I have ready.

I feel that obsidian was wasted in uprising. I will go more in depth in the short but I feel that he should have been the main focus of the film. Rogue bots popping up, so the drones are made to combat them and other kaiju. The kaiju in this hypothetical film start to head more towards Mt Fuji if that plot is wanted in a 3rd. And have it be revealed at the end of the film that it was the kaiju sending in many of the drones like obsidian with the help of Newt. So then if the megakaiju is wanted, they could make it make more sense with those little kaiju bot fellas that ripped Raijin and his team apart to form the megakaiju. Idk that is just my thoughts. I really feel that obsidian was the coolest part of the film for sure and would have loved to see him in more content.

look I know some or all of you like or hate pacific rim uprising but there is one thing we can agree on and that is Guardian Bravo is the biggest BUM and FRUAD and he only lasted only about 15 to 20 seconds before dying by crashing into a building and now it's time we all come together and slander guardian bravo like a family

Effective is what I would call Cherno as a Jaeger during his prime. So imagine a WW1 British Mark IV tank vs. either a Tiger 1/2 or Panther tank. That's what I think Cherno is, an obsolete unit but still packs a punch.

Cherno was definitely one of the best MK1 Jaegers before but as time passes on the Kaijus become stronger, better and smarter, and Cherno couldn't last any longer since the newer Jaegers were built for against the newer Kaijus.

Maybe if Cherno was upgraded and remodeled he would stand a greater chance.

Romeo blue being one of the first jaegers and looking this good is amazing. And crimson typhoon is an honorable mention cause his concept is amazing just wish we got to see more of them.
