Day 5 WD
The rest of the day yesterday and last night was pretty rough. Alot of anxiety, a little depression, restlessness, fatigue, chills. Got about 3 hours of very broken sleep and my whole body feels like I was in a car accident.
Day 5 today woke up tired, sore, unmotivated, anxious, stomach issues. I'm at the point where I have to go to the store to get stuff, and just thinking about it makes me anxious as shit. I just want to stay in my hole today. I don't work today or tomorrow so that's a plus. Another plus this WD is I don't have as bad as a cough as I usually have so I'm trying to find some positive. That is all for now I suppose.

Youre definitely gunna have motivation issues, itโs the one that lingers but itโs completely normal and goes away. This isnโt the permanent you. No sleep also plays a big role in this on top of w/d.
It helped me to just start doing stuff I needed to do and not thinking about it too much. Once you get moving it much easier to get through.
Hang in there homie. Congrats on 5 days!!!

THIS ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ. It took me 1 year being off of any & all opiates to get healthy motivation back. Around the year mark is when I felt a noticeable improvement. OP, Please be gentle with yourself as your brain & body adjust to being off of drugs and back to functioning properly. Sometimes just existing sober has to be enough for the day. Youโll get that motivation back, I PROMISE. I wish I was more gentle with myself now that Iโm on the other side.

Probably not that. I'd fall asleep for like 10 minutes, wake up. All in all it totaled probably 3 hours but I started trying to fall asleep at 8 at night and finally just gave up at 630 this morning.

I just done my last line again for the 3rd time in the past month. But ive cut down drastically compared to where I was 3 months ago. So hopefully it wont be near as bad.

I'm sorry it's so rough for you man... You've made it 5 days though and that's fucking incredible! Things will get a little easier each time. Idk if you have access to a hot shower but it can help with the pain. You can do this ๐ช๐ป๐ฉท

I gotta be the only person that has a hard time taking a shower while going through withdrawals. I get so weak and out of breath. Drying off almost feels impossible lol
