I keep coming back to serviceability instead of battery specs
The more off-grid systems I compare, the less interested I am in which one has the most impressive spec sheet. I’m more concerned about what happens when something stops working and grid power isn’t there as a fallback.
Traditional setups built around Victron, Schneider, or similar components seem easier to understand and repair. Systems like Tesla Powerwall, FranklinWH, and EcoFlow’s new whole-home battery look cleaner, but they also appear more dependent on software and the manufacturer’s support.
I’ve owned another EcoFlow product and had no major issues with it. Still, portable equipment is much easier to replace than the equipment running a property.
How much weight would you give to remote diagnostics and manufacturer support versus being able to troubleshoot everything locally?
Optional OP comment:
A polished app is nice, but I’d be uncomfortable if basic operation depended too heavily on an internet connection or a company server.

Depends on your own capabilities. Myself am not that tech savvy and I've had problems getting service people to our place so now I'm considering changing our victron + BYD battery setup against some more compact power station that I can just take to the repare place instead of begging and overpaying someone to come to us.

Everything I have is Victron. (Not batteries obviously, those are a diff brand)
After 7 years full "off-grid" (with no grid backup at all), I can tell you that failures are never the Victron equipment, they are always the wires between things. Like battery to busbar, busbar to charge controller, busbar to inverter, etc.
The actual hardware, charge controllers, inverters, busbar (lynx), batteries and such have all been flawless.

After Deye remotely shut down inverters in the US for "reasons" back in 2024 I've become a wee bit paranoid about depending on any equipment that requires an internet connection.

I would say that the voctron app is quite polished
But even then, I rarely use it as everything is fed to home assistant anyway
