Hello to all Iranians and friends,
Due to the high volume of rapid updates and back-to-back threads, we ask that posts that do not contain a new or significant development be directed to this megathread. This includes general discussion, speculation, reactions, opinions, broader commentary, questions, jokes, memes, and general messages of support.
Standalone posts should primarily be reserved for current events and newly released information, such as breaking news, new videos or footage, official statements, confirmed updates, or other meaningful developments. Legitimate news and newly released footage are still allowed and encouraged as standalone submissions.
Minor updates, repeated information, personal commentary, or posts that do not report a new development may be redirected to the megathread or removed. Depending on activity levels, broader consolidation into the megathread may become mandatory.
This approach helps reduce clutter, limit misinformation, and keep the subreddit organized during a fast-moving situation.
Please remain civil, avoid spreading unverified claims, and continue to follow all subreddit rules.
Thank you for your cooperation.

What’s even more strange is how the regime didn’t take advantage of this situation to lure him in and capture him in Iran! What a bullet he dodged! Imagine if god forbid he lost his life in that war or by the regime!

I made a post on this subreddit, a while ago talking about how my school forced me to take off my pen in support of a free Iran
After a week of back-and-forth, emails and threatening to take it to the media my school acquiesced and allowed me to wear my pen.

Auto-translated from Persian:
Today, I got on a shared taxi, and suddenly one of the passengers sitting in the front seat was saying that in one area, they'd set up a checkpoint at the end of every alley.
A fat, plump guy sitting on a chair with slippers on, wearing some kind of sheikh's clothes, and five kids—all between 15 and 17 years old—with guns in their hands.
He said we passed the first one, then got to the second checkpoint. He said you could see it clear as day, you know.
He said the driver was told to get out, and when the driver steps out, he says one word: "Didn't you see they stopped me up there too, searched me? From there to here, I don't want anything added to my car." And suddenly, the one with the gun in his hand says, while you're shaking like that, he yells, "Don't say a word, go over to the wall, stick to the wall."
The driver says, "Son, that gun's in your hand—take your finger off the trigger before you shoot us and get us killed badly..." And he says that bastard commander was just watching. Anyway, he says they searched the car again and didn't find anything, told him to go.
The poor guy was talking about how if that kid had squeezed the trigger out of fear right then—and the Kalashnikov trigger that goes off with just a light press—he says they'd have killed an innocent person, then they'd threaten his whole family: "If you say a word, we'll make you miserable," and so on. And this is the reality of Iran today.
It's not clear how many people these nightly gunshots in Mashhad are killing under cover of night, then silencing their families with threats. The situation in Mashhad has turned exactly into Texas 150 years ago, in the worst conditions of the Wild West, every single night.

Haalvsh news outlet reported on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, on clashes between Islamic Republic forces and armed opposition groups in Sistan and Baluchestan Province, stating that two mines exploded along the path of a convoy belonging to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and the Fatemiyoun militia in the Pir Souran region of Zahedan County.
Haalvsh reported that during the early hours of the clash, approximately 18 motorcycles carrying Fatemiyoun fighters were dispatched from the Sarkal Qaleh-Bid base to the region’s heights and were ambushed by armed individuals. According to the news outlet, more than 20 Fatemiyoun fighters were killed or wounded in the attack.
According to Haalvsh, armed individuals present in the Siyah Loop heights targeted and shot down an IRGC combat drone on Tuesday afternoon. The report noted that sporadic clashes in the mountainous areas of Taftan and along the Pir Souran routes are still ongoing.
The Fatemiyoun Division is an Afghan militia group operating under the command of the IRGC Quds Force.
These developments come as armed attacks across various parts of Sistan and Baluchestan have been reported nearly on a daily basis in recent weeks. Over the past week, two police officers were killed in Bampur, the police headquarters in Golshan came under attack, the head of Faryab’s prevention police was killed, and the deputy for social and cultural affairs of the Zahedan police died in a roadside bomb explosion.

The protests were about a local matter, unrelated at face value to the Lion & Sun revolution. The locals were upset and demanding conversion of Meymeh to a county - a sore spot which has been simmering for 20 years.
The protesters were carrying flags of the Islamic regime and carrying portraits of Khamenei, most likely to forestall a heavy handed crackdown by the security forces. Despite that, there are reports and videos of people being shot and injured.

More than 20 IRGC-linked fighters were reportedly killed or wounded today following weeks of escalating conflict in the Sistan-Baluchestan province, when the regime sent large numbers of forces into the region to attempt to counter growing insurgent activity. It is reported that a combination of roadside bombs as well as ambushes by gunmen in the mountainous regions were the main causes of death. The conflict today was sparked by an attempted kidnapping of what could be assumed to be a regime-linked engineer (due to the Quds Force monitoring them), as insurgents attempted to take them out of the country for unknown reasons.

I am more optimistic then the first campaign as it will be in support of PLC ground offensives but the Houthis are difficult to hurt with bombs because they have literally nothing of value no air assets no Armour and a decentralized command with thousands of officers so actual valuble targets are stationary forts or outpost and truck technicals neither very valuble.
But I have some optimism as this will be a combined arms from the PLC on the ground the Saudis Pakistanis and Americans in the air along with the Saudi navy.

Iran is fortifying its defenses, rallying loyalists and threatening a wider, harsher response against the U.S. and its Gulf allies as it prepares for potential American attacks after the midterms and seeks to deter them.
Iranian officials have warned publicly and in private conversations with regional officials that the Islamic Republic will respond with further escalation across the Middle East if the U.S. launches new strikes.
Satellite images show Iran is strengthening sensitive locations, including nuclear sites and border areas, to make them more resilient to attacks. The government is also preparing Iranians for renewed war, sending paramilitary forces to read war stories to kindergartners, advertising training in firing shoulder-mounted antiaircraft missiles and holding rallies.
Iran has little ability to defend against attacks from advanced U.S. jets, high-altitude bombers or cruise missiles, giving it an incentive to try to deter such attacks with threats. The belligerent tone also serves as a distraction from the deepening economic misery Iranians are experiencing as the U.S. toughens sanctions and pressures airlines not to fly to the country, tightening the blockade.
“The war footing is serving them well for now due to an impasse on many fronts—diplomatically, economically and politically,” said Sanam Vakil, Middle East director at London’s Chatham House think tank. “With a new war, the Islamic Republic could dig itself out of the cul-de-sac it has dug for itself.”
In an attempt to deter a potential attack, some Iranian officials have hinted that their forces could conduct land incursions into neighboring countries, according to people familiar with the warnings. Iran’s top national security official, Mohsen Rezaei, said on Sunday that Tehran could target the United Arab Emirates, which has largely escaped being attacked since late spring, as well as data centers and internet cables across the region.

While some were afraid that the withdrawn airframes from europe and Mid east theatres were a sign of USA backing out of further conflicts with the islamic regime in Iran the planes have now return with more being deployed.
However the bombers are kept out of Britain so far and depending on what the baltic nations with their purposals do they could remain out of Britain for good.
