Discussion How the fuck did Mevis not get released after Week 16 last year??? (the famous 2pt conversion game)
Remember he missed the field goal in Week 16 vs Seattle last year that would've won the game 33-30.
If he made that kick. Then the Rams would've got the 1 seed and probably won the Super Bowl. Now the aftermath of it all is that their division rival wins the Super Bowl (not only that but en route to the Super Bowl, Charbonnet gets hurt which makes K9 RB1 and gets him the SBMVP which leads to him going to the Chiefs and making the Chiefs Super Bowl contenders again), the 49ers are good again, Myles Garrett got traded from Cleveland and is now on IR, Aaron Donald came back (battled through injuries and such) the entire Rams future is in jeopardy, they're 2-3 as Mevis costed them the game again. None of this shit would've happened if Mevis made the kick last year. The Rams would be a dynasty right now if he did despite them not being able to trade for McDuffie and Garrett because well fuck they're better off without them I guess.

Mevis has the yips, plain and simple, every kick is a coin flip at this point.

Maybe the Rams shouldn't have let Xavier Smith give the Seahawks a free touchdown in the NFCCG last year as well.

Because Mevis was the only thing about our special teams that didn't suck last year. Well outside that Ethan punt against Seattle in round 1.
52 kicks last year, FGs and XPs included. He made 51/52. The only miss was the one you mentioned. Unfortunately it was the missed kick that eventually sank our season. We get the NFCCG at home if he makes it, and that home field might be enough to flip that 31-27 game our way instead of theirs. Who knows.
He's completely done now though. Same shit Karty got the boot for.

There was still time left in that Seattle game though.
What if Ernest Jones caught the interception in overtime and Myers walked it off at 33-30?
Does one of the MVP voters give their vote to Maye instead?
The Seahawks constructed a better roster, the Rams have the better quarterback and scheme.
