Highlight McVay full post game interview that was deleted by the Rams on their social media. This is the most pissed I have ever heard a coach talk after a loss

I’ve seen more pissed before but apparently he and the special teams coach threw hands after this.

This is just a rumor right?

It would be hilarious if they miss the playoffs

Unfortunately the NFC east and south are so shit that’s prob not happening and they get a wild card

7

u/OzymanDS Green Bay Packers 2h ago

The entire NFC north, the Niners, the Panthers, and the Giants. This is the way.

Its hard to see the Seahawks missing the playoffs

When you spot opposing teams 21 points, those losses will stack up quickly.

True, though I don't imagine that you guys will do that all that much

We’ll see. Best of luck. The nice thing about a 5-0 start under Shanahan is that it ends in the ultimate heartbreak. :)

Let's speak it into existence

Honestly I will be shocked if there aren't 3 NFC West teams in the playoffs

Most pissed wtf? Did you just start watching football?

For real. This wouldn't have even been room temp for the recently departed Ditka after a loss put him in a foul mood.

u/qwertyq1q1q 1h ago

He never saw Dennis Green when they let the bears off the hook and they were who they thought they were.

u/No_School9204 1h ago

Yeah, I thought about that one as I was writing about Ditka. As a Bears fan, I have qouted Denny Green's rant a few times.

McVay has always been pretty blunt though. His coach speak kind of loses its effect after a while though.

Also people blaming Mevis not realizing that the interior protection completely failed. How are you not accounting for ROUSSEAU on that play?

That kick was going left. You could tell right away. Which is the only reason it got blocked at all. Like the block actually made the kick go straight 🤣🤣

Same shit I said live. If that kick is going the right direction, a guy lined up on the left tackle doesn't block it.

1

u/veggiedish Rain City Bitch Pigeons | 1h ago

But he had to hurry it because the protection didn’t hold up. It was almost a fortuitous tip.

u/B00MER_Knight Detroit Lions 1h ago

Did he say Mevis? I heard him say special teams(FG) and PAT. Which means more than the kicker itself. The blocking, snap, hold - all included in that.

The offense avoided Rousseau like the plague tonight.

So that's it after 20 years? So long, good luck?

I don’t like the thought of my team having more than two ✌️losses in one season.

“We couldn’t do didley poo offensively”

u/timtact0e 1h ago

Don’t blame kicker. Loss is straight up 100% on McVay for NOT having guts to trust his offense for game winning 2 point end of regulation. Bills lighting up scoreboard throughout game and at end of regulation Rams has final possession to win it and they turned into bok bok bok…

It'd be dumb to go for 2 to try avoid overtime at a home game

4

u/LastEsotericist Seattle Seahawks 2h ago

This is like the third most upset I've ever seen McVay, he's not even at "Ty Simpson pick" levels of mad.

3

u/generalmillscrunch 1h ago

This is like an average Vrabel press conference after a win

2

u/Whitw816 San Francisco 49ers 1h ago

They didn’t go for 2 because Josh Allen has never won in overtime. I said it as soon as they got the TD that they’d kick it. Then they should’ve won in OT and that kicker missed again. It felt like the Moody years with the Niners all over again. The Rams should’ve won that game. They didn’t. What a wonderful week to be a Niner fan. Except for losing Deebo of course because we can’t have nice things without someone dying for at least a few weeks.

I think I’ll just comment this on every post game or press conference until something changes…why are there no quality room mics so we can actually hear the damn questions??

u/Joe_Belle 1h ago

Meh. Fake frustration. I am really over coaches settling for field goals
Go for touchdowns

So much the Rams being a team of destiny.

It's funny how little "super teams" that get hyped in the offseason pan out. I don't know if it's the over confidence or what, but this is a familiar road.

Why did they delete it

If you want to crown him, crown his ass! but he is who we thought he was.

Does anyone else think he whines a lot? He always seems to be throwing a fit.

The most pissed?! This is G rated.

1

u/alfredinanotherlife 16m ago

This guy watched Blake Corum break 3 tackles on a 30 yard catch and run and said you aren't stepping on the field for the rest of the game. Maybe he should evaluate his coaching.

“That’s on me.” That’s great coach. Literally nothing will change tho. SOSAR.
