Mom and dad weren't creative people. They did however have the good genes to produce two NFL level star running backs.

Could be worse. They could've pulled a George Foreman.

I just want to know what the oldest did to not be the junior (III in this case). Most families give that name to the oldest son.

Mom probably didnt want her first born to be a Jr. After a few years of seeing Senior be the father he was she relented with the second born. Or something like that.

I think it’s crazier that Dalvin isn’t still in the NFL

Bro fell off QUICK

u/ArtEnvironmental7108 Buffalo Bills 3h ago
Went from 1100 yards and good efficiency to a 3rd stringer in one offseason, then 3rd stringer to basically retired in one more offseason. Legendary fall off honeslty.

Can’t really blame him tho, Mike Zimmer ran him into the fucken ground.

Holy fuck. James Cook was born the same day as me. And he’s won a national championship. Really puts into perspective how much of a fucking loser I am.

u/JadarianPryce Rob Lowe 3h ago
Don’t sell yourself short, Chweenie- I bet you have more Reddit karma than he does.

You’re so right. I’m going to touch myself with a smile on my face tonight instead of a tear rolling down my cheek.

Michael Penis Jr, aka Mike Penis, is named after his dads penis and gets into every club.

Their father was James Cook Sr. It’s unclear to me who the II is
1
u/JadarianPryce Rob Lowe 3h ago
If I have it correct, it would go James, James Jr, and James III. The only people I’ve seen skip the II are bluebloods and royalty lol. And James III would probably go by “tres/trace”

Basically just confirms my suspicions that naming my kid Dalvin James [last name] guarantees he’ll be a running back

There is another example but I don’t want to speak his name

u/StencilBoy Minnesota Vikings 2h ago
It gets stranger. Their oldest brother took their mother’s maiden name to be DeAndre Burnett. Then, Dalvin Cook got his Dad’s name as his middle name (James), and then on the third child they decided to finally have a James Cook III and for some reason added that brotherly bond with Dalvin.
I wonder how the older brother feels not getting any similar nomenclature and being the least successful athlete. He is a non-NBA professional basketball player.

If you think thats crazy wait until you head what James's dad and grandfather's names are.

Man, it's almost like brothers don't usually have swapped first and middle names.
