The Bills overtime losses that I have seen, have been caused mainly by a defense that seems to run out of gas before the game ends. I am not a Bills fan, but Allen is not solely to blame for the poor overtime record.
6 of those 7 times, Josh had the ball in his hands to win the game. The Broncos one, his defense caused Broncos to punt the ball on the first possession.
Ummm... He also threw a good pass that was literally in Brandin Cooks HANDS in OT in that same game, and it likely would have been a game winner. So how the fuck is he to blame for that one??
And no, I'm not one who thinks that should have been ruled a catch. I understand why it wasn't. But again, that one wasn't on Josh. He threw a good pass, and a Broncos defender swooped in and made a great play before Cooks could complete the catch.
Come on. As a Broncos fan, you should understand that.
He was arguing his defense cost Josh all of those OT games when it hasn't outside of the 13 seconds game.
Why is Josh throwing a deep ball to his fucking running back? All of his best throws that game were short to medium passes that run a lot of yards after the catch with his best completion only have 14 air yards. His other deep throws were an int earlier in the game or incompletions. Josh did not stick to what was working and tried to force something on a 50/50 ball and came up short.
