Seems like someone wasn't around for the popped collar era of the mid 2000s.

IMO it wasn’t the same and I feel like even then the popped collar thing was super niche and not a huge cultural trend. I 100% could be wrong about that, but even then, imo that’s fashion and in no way reminiscent of that skibiti mentality retardation

Got it. I am no sociologist, of course, but I think I am okay with an artful comparison between memes and fashion statements, at least in some cases. They seem to follow similar rules and patterns, sometimes.

It just fashion. Just because young people are doing something different doesnt make it brain rot.

It’s fucking stupid as shit.

So were parachute pants and jeans with holes in them.

Did you see the way he jumped, jumped? I think he was Criss Cross’d. The Mac Daddy got to him.

Kriss kross was a thing. Me and another fourth grader decided to wear our clothes backwards the next day. I wore mine backwards, he did not. I haven't trusted anyone since

So we can read the name and make the joke of “who are you” directly to their face?

Could’ve sworn Kris Kross jersey fad died in the early 90s🤷‍♂️

We made yall work for that win too, it wasn’t a walkover, couple bad plays and penix injury to seal the deal, we stepped toe to toe with future hall of fame players.

Thanks Tua

I love this dude. Every time Bryce Young makes the Falcons his bitch, I wait for him to drop his video.

11

u/braumbles San Francisco 49ers 15h ago

The best part is he knew what would happen the moment they talked about Tua hitting the field.

4

u/Environmental-Day862 Philadelphia Eagles 15h ago

And the way the play developed... I was looking at the screen thinking, "Surely, Tua's not going to throw it with that Raven right there...." INTERCEPTED!

And this is coming from a guy whose team had a bad day too. I'm not sure which is worse. At least it was a person in the organization (the coach) that had given us some success in the past that got it wrong and cost the team the game.

For your squad to be in it all night, then have Tua come in - a dude with as many brain cells as years on his Atlanta deal (one) and completely stare down his receiver and throw it directly to the waiting Ravens player...

And for Atlanta ... those fans ... they're still recovering from that 28-3 blown Super Bowl lead. Wouldn't wish that ish on anyone. They've suffered enough.

Well, maybe Cowboys fans....

Why is he wearing his jersey backwards, looks like a jabroni

-2

u/puzzlebuns 12h ago

Why are the young people putting their hats on backwards? Do they not know it looks foolish?

u/snailtap Caleb Williams 🏳️‍🌈 10h ago

Not even close to comparable lmfao

u/YellojD Tampa Bay Buccaneers 15h ago

I love sharing a division with the Falcons.

3

u/MisfitActual0311 Miami Dolphins 13h ago

We're paying him 55 million out of our cap this year. With Watson actually playing somewhat decent again......I now feel confident in calling the contract we gave Tua the absolute worst contract in NFL history. Grier should be in jail.

2

u/dmisfit21 Atlanta Falcons 15h ago

“Fuck it, London’s down there somewhere”— Hawk Tua probably

2

u/BhadBeard 13h ago

That’s how I be feeling every time Andrew’s fumbles on a shoe string tackle or brick hands a wide open first down. I enjoyed this
