Discussion Is Jordan Love still a mid “fraud”?

Post image

All he ever needed was AVERAGE line play to show out.

Pretty sure GB also leads the league in drops.

average line play and face a defense constantly shitting its pants

387 and two tuds against the vikings

5

u/Inevitable-Waltz-889 Minnesota ikings & enver Broncos 16h ago

Now list the bad stuff...

15

u/Husky_Engineer Brett Favre’s dick pic 16h ago

For a Vikings fan, I would have thought you watched the game instead of checking the box score

-3

u/Inevitable-Waltz-889 Minnesota ikings & enver Broncos 15h ago

I was at the game, you dolt.

He looked good in the first two quarters and then managed to throw picks, fumble, and basically do everything in his power to let us back in it and then some.

4

u/Husky_Engineer Brett Favre’s dick pic 15h ago

Must’ve been piss drunk because Love was not the problem that game.

0

u/Inevitable-Waltz-889 Minnesota ikings & enver Broncos 15h ago

I was stone cold sober.  I'm not from Wisconsin.

3

u/Husky_Engineer Brett Favre’s dick pic 15h ago

Oh ya well I’m drunk right now and it still wasn’t Love’s fault

12

u/jxden24 16h ago

the bad stuff being lit up because his line couldnt block?

1

u/LilLexort_3 Chicago Bears 16h ago

Deploying the Justin Fields defense I see

3

u/jxden24 16h ago

not a packer fan but they vikings secondary was getting lit up until they couldnt block their pressure its literally why they came back😭😭

0

u/Inevitable-Waltz-889 Minnesota ikings & enver Broncos 15h ago

I meant interceptions and goal line fumbles.  He basically gave us 14 easy points.

2

u/jxden24 15h ago

not disputing that but he got absolutely lit up the packers allowed the most pressures in a game so far this season im not really sure that takes away from Love and watson carving them up

2

u/Diligent-Chance8044 Green Bay Packers 16h ago

Completion percentage is the largest detractor. A lot of that can be contributed to throw aways due to the amount of pressures Love had in weeks 1-3 below 55%. Another major factor contributing to that poor completion percentage is the league leading drop amount with 13. If just half of those were a catch Love instantly jumps just above league average. Not mention that stat has greatly improved in the last 2 weeks. You can see the dramatic shift in completion percentage with a revamp o-line with tampa and now the bears. If people say the Bears have a bad d-line that is false 9th in pressures, 11th in sacks. That makes them the 4th best pass rushing defense.

2

u/ELITE_JordanLove Green Bay Packers 16h ago

A double tipped fluky pick and low completion percentage due to a lot of throwaways from a bad line? Love played fine it was everyone else who shat themselves.

1

u/Inevitable-Waltz-889 Minnesota ikings & enver Broncos 15h ago

And the fumble?  Did you forget that?

1

u/ELITE_JordanLove Green Bay Packers 11h ago

The one where his line just decided to not block anybody? Sure. So one major mistake balanced out by nearly 400 yards passing a multiple TDs while getting pressured basically immediately the whole game.

1

u/Inevitable-Waltz-889 Minnesota ikings & enver Broncos 10h ago

Change your damn username.  It's making you irrational.

1

u/ELITE_JordanLove Green Bay Packers 5h ago

The worse you rate Love the worse the look is for the Vikings D that they let him throw for that many yards and get that lead on them. MLF cost them the game, a halfway competent coach gets that win and many other QBs are a lot better than Love.

4

u/kvngk3n Detroit Lions 16h ago

Looks like you forgot some stats. Have no fear. I gotchu. Completed 50% of his passes. 160 total air yards. So 227 came on RAC. Also 1 INT

So a lot of dinking and dunking for 21 completions and 160 yards.

1

u/-pineapplebuffet- Green Bay Packers 16h ago

If you think love was dinking and dunk you obviously didn’t watch the game

1

u/kvngk3n Detroit Lions 16h ago

Sorry, was watching my team win

0

u/CompetitiveMiddle435 Green Bay Packers 16h ago

Can you tell me the O line stats for that game too while you’re at it? 😂

-3

u/RawDogRedemption2 Minnesota Vikings 16h ago

Empty stats

14

u/Illini005 Chicago Bears 16h ago

Yes

4

u/Admiral_Fuckwit Buffalo Bills 16h ago

Yeah, the short answer is “yes.”

The long answer is yeeeeeeeeeeessssssssssss

-7

u/Grateful5150 16h ago

The Bears are still the Packers bitch and even a “mid” quarterback slices those frauds up. Cope however you need too.

1

u/CurrencyOk8282 16h ago

Sounds like you’re still getting out some pent up anger from last year

2

u/ObamaIsFat Chicago Bears 16h ago

Yeah these dudes were holding some shit deep inside lmao

1

u/Grateful5150 16h ago

Anger for what? The Bears have been the Packers bitch for 30 years. One good year and a couple of games won’t change that. Sounds like you are unable to handle the truth 😂😂😂

1

u/CurrencyOk8282 16h ago

Idk man I think it’s perfectly normal behavior to spam the same comment 30 times in the same thread

1

u/Grateful5150 15h ago

That was my third comment. Maybe instead of being in an NFL thread you should focus on learning how to count. Maybe you can count how many TD’s that mid QB put up on the bitches of the midway yesterday.

1

u/CurrencyOk8282 15h ago

What a normal, psychologically healthy comment

2

u/Grateful5150 15h ago

5-2 1500 yards 13 TDs 3 ints against the Bears in Loves career. Not bad for a mid QB. 😂😂😂😂

1

u/CurrencyOk8282 15h ago

More emojis = more normal

1

u/Grateful5150 14h ago

Seems their fans are bitches too.

16

u/Fun_Elk593 16h ago

these posts are as dumb as the people who change their evaluation of players based on their stats across a few games

2

u/EnigmaSpore Niners 16h ago

My QB is better than yours and/or My QB ranking list is better too.

Nah nah-nah nah nahhhhhh.

That’s really what it’s all about.

8

u/Invite-Healthy Baltimore Ravens 16h ago

He’s pretty good. He’s done a good job of cutting back on the head-scratching turnovers

4

u/GenericNameSimulated 16h ago

Weird way to describe a dude who has thrown 11, 11, 6 interceptions is his first 3 years as a starter.

6

u/immagoat1252 Green Bay Packers 16h ago

That’s not even a bad amount of turnovers lol especially the 6

1

u/WheyTooMuchWeight Green Bay Panthers 16h ago

Nah it’s a fair statement, his first years he would have a couple weird weird plays every game it felt like. Not always a turnover, but the sort of bad plays you’d see backups make.

He’s polished up his game for sure.

3

u/GenericNameSimulated 16h ago

“Head scratching turnovers”

“Not always a turnover”

Words have meaning homie.

-1

u/WheyTooMuchWeight Green Bay Panthers 15h ago

It’s a conversation not an equation homie.

2

Still the packers bitch even with a “mid” QB 😂😂

5

Yes

5

u/Xenephobe375 16h ago

Career stats:

12942 Yards

93 TDs

34 INTS

96.7 Rating

Imagine that being mid

3

u/Adventurous-Studio20 16h ago

People forget that he absolutely dominated the Vikings defense (which is now #1 in everything) for 3 quarters of football. No other QB has done that thus far. He's not Aaron Rodgers, he's not Brett Favre, and he may not be "elite" but he is good

0

u/dtdude87 Chicago Bears 16h ago

If games were only 3 quarters long, the pack would be Super Bowl champs. If he wants to be elite, gotta show up when it matters most.

1

u/Adventurous-Studio20 15h ago

If games were 3 quarters long and they added an 8th seed to the playoffs the packers would never not make the playoffs i'm sure.

I didn't say he was elite, he isn't (even if they want to pay him like he is). But he isn't bad either

1

u/dtdude87 Chicago Bears 14h ago

Agreed, he’s above average

2

u/[deleted] 16h ago

Golden and watson look incredible. Lafleur gets a lot of hate, but he always finds a way to make it work with the Oline. Jordan love is how I want all QBs to play tbh lol.

1

u/Dr-McLuvin 16h ago

No he just played Chicago once

1

u/Legitimate_Ad_7822 New England Patriots 16h ago

Been saying he’s still a good QB.

People on this sub just cannot wait to shit on QBs of historically good franchises. Logic gets thrown out the window.

Yesterday, we both bonded from the ashes of “FTP”.

1

u/Reaper3955 16h ago

Its actually not the line play it's matt lafleur not calling hb dive every down

2

u/Reasonable-Mess3070 Detroit Lions 16h ago

Goff currently beats Love in every one of those stats and still gets called Jared Goof. Lol

3

u/ChillStillWill 14h ago

Because he is a goof

1

u/Cruztd23 New York Giants 16h ago

Yes

1

u/Internal_Swing_2743 New Orleans Saints 16h ago

He never was. He was third in MVP voting last year until Micah got hurt and he suffered a concussion.

1

u/JockAussie Minnesota Vikings 16h ago

Nah, he's good, depending on the week I have him between 8-14, probably averages about 10/11 for me.

And I'm a Vikings fan....I know good QB play from watching those Packers QBs for the last 30 years or whatever the fuck.

1

u/Weekend_Criminal I hate the Raiders more than I like football 16h ago

The only thing that answers this question is sustained success over a length of time. Having a few good games or even one good season isn't enough evidence to determine whether or not someone is a fraud

1

u/CompetitiveMiddle435 Green Bay Packers 16h ago

He’s thrown two td passes in every game this year while leading the league and drops and the last ranked O line and he’s playing better each game. Seems kinda consistent to me

2

u/Weekend_Criminal I hate the Raiders more than I like football 16h ago

I didn't say consistent.I said , sustained success over a length of time. 5 games is not a length of time. It is a small sample.

1

u/bradperry2435 16h ago

Bears were suppose to have a shit defense this year

1

u/MattyHealysFauxHawk Seattle Seahawks 16h ago

This is the definition of mid.

1

u/ItsNjry 16h ago

I’m so sick of seeing every QB be a fraud. No every QB is a superstar. Not every QB is a bust if they aren’t Allen, Mahomes, or Jackson. Even those guys get fraud allegations

1

u/iamerk24 14h ago

I agree in principle, but a $55M AAV comes with expectations

1

u/Chronocide126 Detroit Lions 16h ago

Just gonna leave this here.

2

u/CompetitiveMiddle435 Green Bay Packers 16h ago

I think Goff is good

0

u/IPissExcellentThrows Green Bay Packers 16h ago

Amazing what you can do without historically bad line play. That said, the Bears defense sucks. But yes, people who were saying Love isn't top 15 were clearly spreadsheet watching and not actually watching games. No one would've looked good behind that line the first 3 weeks.

1

u/Xenephobe375 14h ago

The Bears defense was consistently ranked top 10 and even top 5 going into week 5.

-2

u/CompetitiveMiddle435 Green Bay Packers 16h ago

Exactly my point. I’m not saying Love is on the same level as a Lamar, Josh Allen or Mahomes. I just think putting him outside top 10 QB talks is comical lol.

5

u/JockAussie Minnesota Vikings 16h ago

He is about 10 for my money. Some weeks I think he falls out, some weeks in. On average he is probably 10.

1

u/BabaYaga02204 16h ago

Yes, played a back up and a shit defense

1

u/kvngk3n Detroit Lions 16h ago

Yes he’s mid and a fraud. And I strongly feel this way for no reason in particular…

In all seriousness, I do think he’s a little overrated because of the “he’s the 3rd QB for GB in 35(?) years”. He’s good, but he’s not close to one of the top in the league, he’s the 3rd best in the division. As much as I love Goff, he’s 2nd, Caleb is 1.

2

u/Careless_Button3364 16h ago

Caleb is 1 only based on vibes, which ok

-1

u/kvngk3n Detroit Lions 16h ago

I could see that. I give him a little bit of the tiebreaker solely because of mobility.

1

u/SiahDraws Green Bay Packers 16h ago

I think - as a packers fan - they can overhype love. I think he is good enough to be franchise, but nowhere near Rodgers in his prime. but who COULD be. the fact that we have only had 3 and our "failure" QB is a guy who gets floated in the top 10 convo quite a bit means ill take it. The problems our team has is not at QB at least it's not very high on my list.

Love to me is a solid QB but maybe more akin to a sam darnold - needs a system to perform but if he has one I would say he is good enough to get the job done.

1

u/Inevitable-Waltz-889 Minnesota ikings & enver Broncos 15h ago

Don't sell your own guy short.  Goff is #1.

0

u/Sandshrew922 Green Bay Packers 16h ago

I mean no, he's a good QB. He's just not near the elite. He's probably in that 8-12 range when he's at his best.

He's a guy who is simultaneously overrated and underrated with nothing in between most of the time.

0

u/Greenzombie04 New England Patriots 16h ago

Hes the new Andy Dalton.

Good enough to not get replaced

Bad enough to never lead you to a Superbowl.

1

u/Grateful5150 16h ago

Idiot take lol

0

u/Lost_Competition_172 16h ago

Oh yes definitely. Just chucking a deep ball to star receivers doesnt make you a good quarterback

6

u/CompetitiveMiddle435 Green Bay Packers 16h ago

You gotta be trolling 😂🤣

0

u/Lost_Competition_172 16h ago

Repeatedly completed 40 yd passes and massively inflating pass yards per game with 4 plays is an indictment on the opponent’s coaching and defense.. not an endorsement of a quarterback. You mustve never played football

1

u/Xenephobe375 15h ago

Watson was overpaid and Golden is too short. Literally what this sub was saying not too long ago.

1

u/PackerBacker412 Green Bay Packers 12h ago

I was told Watson was overpaid and Golden was a bust. Now they're stars? Ok bud

0

u/DorguHitsDingers 16h ago

He’s just CJ Stroud NFC edition

0

u/aeacurus 16h ago

He's good, you can win with him. Not sure there's much else to say about Love than that

0

u/Careless_Button3364 16h ago

NFC North QB's, rated:

Jared Goff: Way underrated

Jordan Love: Slightly underrated

Caleb Williams: Slightly overrated

Kyler Murray: Rated

0

u/ChrisIlitchBurner Detroit Lions 16h ago

OP you do realize people will disagree with you simply because you’re posting something embarrassing like this right?

2

u/CompetitiveMiddle435 Green Bay Packers 16h ago

Only thing embarrassing is the Lions getting swept by the packers last year lol

0

u/ChrisIlitchBurner Detroit Lions 16h ago

You’re right, that was embarrassing.

But this post is still also embarrassing.

2

u/CompetitiveMiddle435 Green Bay Packers 16h ago

0

Yes. Outplaying Tyson Bagent yesterday doesn't make him good all of a sudden lmfao

-1

u/ten_tabs_ Oakland Raiders 16h ago

You got to experience prime Favre and Rodgers, you should know what a better than mid QB looks like. I’d put him around 13th where his QBR is in your screenshot, that’s mid by definition.

1

u/CompetitiveMiddle435 Green Bay Packers 16h ago

Ya because he had the worst O line in football buddy lol.

2

u/billwest630 Green Bay Packers 16h ago

He’s pretty clearly top 10. And Rodgers and Favre are both top 10 all time, no shit Love isn’t that 🤣

4

u/SpicyPWNS 16h ago

Pretty clearly is crazy

1

u/billwest630 Green Bay Packers 16h ago

It’s really not. The stats and the eye test back it up.

0

u/JeffButChinese Detroit Lions 16h ago

He's top 10 right now, but people usually consider past performances when ranking QBs as well. Otherwise you'd have to reconcile that Bryce, Deshaun, and Kirk are also top 10 lol.

Overall, in no particular order: Allen, Lamar, Burrow, Mahomes, Stafford, Purdy, Dak, and Goff I would say are definitely better than Love. He's hanging around the 8-12 spot with guys like Lawrence, Caleb, Darnold, Hurts.

1

u/billwest630 Green Bay Packers 15h ago

I’d say Hurts isn’t in the convo at this point. I’d put Love at 9 above Trevor.

1

u/JeffButChinese Detroit Lions 15h ago

And that's fine, just saying that it's debatable. There's a number of guys you can make the argument for.

0

u/RealVarix Minnesota Vikings 15h ago

The eye test backs up he's mid as fuck

0

u/billwest630 Green Bay Packers 15h ago

Argue with the wall while your team wastes another amazing defense playing Kyler Murray lmao

0

u/RealVarix Minnesota Vikings 15h ago

I’m not the one stating my QB is top 10 you doorknob.

1

u/billwest630 Green Bay Packers 15h ago

Love is top 10 and you can keep crying about it all you want lmao. It’s not like it’s some stretch and it’s not like I’m saying he’s top 3. But only salty division fans think he’s not good.

-2

u/Theorist816 Kansas City Chiefs 16h ago

No he’s not lolololololol. Top 15? Sure, I’d give it to you

3

u/billwest630 Green Bay Packers 16h ago

Yes, he is. Love is hated for the team he plays on but he’s top 10.

2

u/Tomollins 16h ago

Mahomes, Allen, Lamar, Burrow, Stafford, Purdy, Goff, Dak, Hurts. Love is probably 10. But people may have high opinions of TLaw, Young, Caleb. I wouldn’t put them ahead of him yet tho. And obviously based on the last 2 seasons, Darnold would be in the top 10.

2

u/billwest630 Green Bay Packers 15h ago

Hurts doesn’t belong on that list honestly. He’s looked average for two seasons now.

1

u/Theorist816 Kansas City Chiefs 16h ago

Name them out, my brudda

0

u/iamerk24 16h ago

Yes, he's just the high risk/high reward kind.

-2

u/Medium_stepper624 Kansas City Chiefs 16h ago

yes he is, possibly the most overhyped QB in the league

2

u/CompetitiveMiddle435 Green Bay Packers 16h ago

That would be Caleb Williams my friend. Throws 5 ints in the playoffs. No all pro or even pro bowl nods and gets gifted the madden cover lol

-2

u/Greenzombie04 New England Patriots 16h ago

Give me Caleb over Love 10/10 times.
