So, Jimmy is telling Nick that he found slugs from a .44 Magnum in the shooting but no matching weapon was found at the crime scene. Then the lawyer was like "yeah, dude carries a gold .44 Magnum.

Then we see the dude.... It's a gold .50cal Desert Eagle....

Except for McGee, I don’t like the current team.

I haven’t really watched weekly in years. I watched Ziva’s return episodes. I watched Ducky’s memorial episode. But other than that, this is the first time I’m really seeing Knight and Parker. Torres I already didn’t like. He’s arrogant. He’s a douche. Knight and Parker are boring. They have no personality. Parker seems like he’s a team leader by title only. And Knight is just a pretty face. That’s it. There’s no chemistry. No spark with the characters. It’s sooooo blah. The only reason I’m watching is for Director Tony and I figured there would be good McGee and Tony banter again.

I finally got the official box set, with the CBS opening and everything only to discover it had no special features at all. Of all the seasons to pull this crap Return of Ellie, the Origins crossover and of course, Vance's death You think we'd get featurettes or audio commentary or something...but no...disappointed, frustrated and angry I paid full price. Do better CBS.

Hey everybody, I thought I'd explain the question a little bit. I'm a newer fan of NCIS, having gotten into NCIS not through the main show but actually through the regional spinoffs, having really enjoyed the likes of NCIS Sydney, NOLA, etc. I want to get into the main show, but I am slightly overwhelmed at the fact that there are 23 finished seasons and don't know where to start.

I hope this isn't a dumb question but is there a season y'all would recommend someone who's new to the main show start with? I have seen a few episodes of Season 23, so I am somewhat familiar with the characters from that season but I'm not by any means stuck to those characters.
