Music Apocalypse Fest 10/31

Traveling from Washington State for this show alone, kind of nervous because I’ve never been to Philly. I’m literally flying in, getting a Lyft to the venue & then back to the airport to fly back the next morning.
What should I expect from the venue? Are they strict on what you can bring in? How early does everyone plan on lining up? My flight gets in around 5:30am so I may try to kill time around the area. Hoping to make some friends too! I’m just a 30 year old girl 😅 But I’m so excited!!!! Don’t plan on dressing up for Halloween though as I want to be comfortable!

hi! i live in philly if you need any advice on places to go, not sure what area you’re staying in but the area around the arena is not the most walkable if you were wanting to explore and get something to eat. depending on where you are staying, i would also recommend looking into taking public transit to and from the arena. the broad street line stops literally right outside the gate of the venue so it’s extremely convenient and you wouldn’t have to worry about traffic or surge pricing. in general, xfinity is a pretty relaxed venue - from my experience they don’t really police bag size, they will have it be xray scanned before entering and they have never even had me open my bag to have it checked. they do also allow you to bring an empty plastic water bottle so you can fill one at thejr bottle refilling stations for free. i hope you get to enjoy philly it can be a very cute city and we have a lot of great food here!

You can bring a bag in but nothing oversized. They have lockers for rent outside if needed. There isn’t much to do near the venue as it’s just the sports stadiums and I don’t think Stateside Live (bars/ restaurants next to the arena)opens very early.

Hoping to get something accessible to share with as many people as possible so we all have one matching "thing". Torn between birthday party hats (to celebrate 20 years), or cowboy hats (because they're silly).

Stateside live is right there and chickies and Pete’s is down the road. Not a ton to do in the stadium area other than that. Honestly go check out some of the historical stuff in the city or Reading Terminal Market. The arena is easy to get to via public transit. I believe you can take public transit from the airport to center city as well

Hi I live in Philly in my experience they aren’t super strict I have never had any issues. I’m happy to show you around I’m also a 30 year old girl. I’m not dressing up either. There’s a really good cheesesteak place across from the Oregon station. Send me a dm.
