Discussion G Sync Pulsar firmware update (Acer XB273U F5BMIIPRX)

Have an Acer XB273U F5BMIIPRX, trying to update the firmware. I assume I am supposed to use the included USB Type B cable, which is plugged into the back of the monitor and connected to my PC Type A on the motherboard.

Getting a "no supported device" error. Using Chrome and disabled all plugins. Am I doing something wrong? Update instructions are a bit vague.

The firmware update is done via the micro USB port on the monitor I thought?
