Great Information Taming?

I noticed that she doesn’t shy away from my hand so I wanted to see what she would do if I pet her and she did a little splat? Was that a good sign or a leave me alone sign? I’m not that good with her body language yet

Shes not a huge fan of it, but she's not extremely bothered either! That's actually really good for a little baby.. shes so tiny 😭😭😭😭😭😭

I’m not an expert, so anyone can feel free to correct me on this, but when they tongue flick it means they are curious and open to interaction. When there is no tongue flick and they are standing still like that, I think it may just be fear.

Again if anyone wants to correct me, I’m happy to learn.

Check out NERD's channel on reptile taming. He's a very good resource with an incredible amount of experience

So far so good, just be sure not to push it and try to stop before she runs away so it's a positive interaction. The goal is to get her to be curious and when she starts flicking her tongue normally that'll be good progress. If she ever licks the side of her mouth while you're around thats a good sign, usually monitor speak for "I'm content with this situation." I'm not an expert by any means but I've had my Ackie for 5 years and she's a healthy girl. I learned a lot from YT reptile keepers like NERD, Clint's Reptiles, and Reptile Professor.

Update! I tried just laying my hand in her Terra and playing around with the leave litter instead of concentrating on her. She came right up, proceeded to walk over my hand, tried to dig into my hand and the tried to bite me..three times without properly biting down. She certainly had personality
