This is how I play Minecraft.

Dig a big hole. Dump all the dirt and cobble in “piles” nearby.

Oh it’s got deep, we’ll need a crane. And pallets.

I rarely engage with any part of Minecraft that isn’t just digging a bigger, deeper hole.

This looks way nicer than anything I’ve ever done though.

hahahaha lowkey very close to what I do, my thing is making underground tunnels tho, I wanna be an ant everytime I play survival 😂

•

u/mukisnacht 15h ago

Same, almost . Minecart subways, called sculkways in every save for me.

•

u/cool--reddit-guy 9h ago

This is the way.

•

u/kennerly 18h ago

I always end up finding a natural hole and then it just gets out of control from there.

•

u/nimzoid 18h ago

Out of context, this sentence is an absolute banger.

•

u/vzvv 18h ago

Same. I love building a glass top to my giant hole, so I can walk over it and look down.

This looks dope. Time to build a fancier giant hole!

I really like that you included a vanilla screenshot, a lot of builds get posted with HYPER MEGA SHADERS but would look like crap in vanilla

•

u/DioRods 20h ago

yeah... I always build without shaders so I only post stuff I like seeing without shaders hahaha

•

u/TooSilly4ya_YIPPEE 20h ago

name of the shader?

•

u/DioRods 20h ago

BSL shaders :)) I use customs settings tho

•

u/Eco-Pro-Rah 19h ago

Gib settings pleaaaase 😩🙏

•

u/Sirius_Rise 13h ago

You cannot just say custom settings without dropping the settings bro 😭

•

u/faris_Playz 20h ago

I'm glad, lesggoooo! 💪

•

u/randanowitz 19h ago

Stealing for inspiration! I’ve decided to do away with storage systems and start building venues that relate to what is being stored there. Just finished my bank, and a quarry is up next! Love this build!

•

u/DioRods 16h ago

Lesgooo!! Good luck with the build 💪

•

u/Fearless_Bus_9721 20h ago

•

u/vVort3x_ 16h ago

I AM BEING COMPLETELY HONEST HERE, this might just be the best build i have ever seen

•

u/West_Yorkshire 20h ago

I love how natural you've made it look

•

u/Raul_Menendez6473 17h ago

We let bro cook🔥🔥🔥 respect 🫡🫡

•

u/Gottendrop 17h ago

How deep does it go? I’ve been thinking about making something like this where it goes down to deepslate so it can be my actual mine entrance

•

u/DioRods 16h ago

I made it around 60 blocks deep, but the cool thing is that if you make it, you can technically just keep digging down to whichever height u like! 💪💪

•

u/i4nxofour 2h ago

can i go to the void

•

u/UnbiasedPOS 13h ago

Me too but I have a fully build ancient city at the bottom and I wanted to build like a shire town on the surface

•

u/Few_Answer1795 16h ago

How fun is it that you got those railings so perfectly spaced out?

•

u/thebluetagtagger 12h ago

The waterlogged walls on the waterway is so cool

•

u/Ertyio68 19h ago

Irl this would be a swimming pool in like 2 days with that waterfall there

•

u/Inevitable-Ad4208 20h ago

Would love to see a tutorial

•

u/Mountain_Dentist5074 19h ago

You know you cooked when your build look awesome no matter the texture pack / shader etc.

•

u/Ok_Translator8581 19h ago

Love the crane and chains pulling up pallets. Kick ass dude

•

u/KilianFelix2211 19h ago

Really like the build but I love the vibrancy of the shader! Do you mind telling me which shader it is? Or is it "just" complementary with a bunch of custom settings?

•

u/DioRods 19h ago

BSL shaders and yeah I use customs settings hahah

•

u/KilianFelix2211 19h ago

A thanks for the quick reply. Am trying to emulate the vibrant visuals look for years with complementary but maybe I have to try it with BSL looks awesome

•

u/Green-Resource-3698 19h ago

Looks great. Mind exporting the settings and sharing here?

•

u/Impressive-View-5604 19h ago

Can i download this? i wanna use it in my survival world :D

•

u/DioRods 19h ago

yeah, I have it on my page :))

•

u/BigGreenHouse2 19h ago

The shades and angle make it look like Dungeons I dig it

•

u/VoidHunterRaymond 19h ago

It's beautiful. The levels and gorgeous designs.

•

u/Slight-Good-7649 18h ago

Shi will take allot of time to dig

•

u/binybeke 18h ago

Man this reminds me of a similar one I made a while back. Yours is much better lmao

•

u/Wouachx 18h ago

Great work! I love the feel of this and the details. Very lived in.

•

u/Brave-Application-99 18h ago

I need this lol

•

u/girlmachina 18h ago

yo, ur back ! u havent posted in a year .

•

u/SloppyJoe42069 18h ago

this is incredible

•

u/Cocokebo 16h ago

Big fan

•

u/Beauyakasha 15h ago

Reminds me of Castle Story...oh what could have been.

•

u/TheChurchIsHere 14h ago

Really dig this! My favorite thing to do with these is have a rail that runs in a figure 8 pattern so it crisscrosses at different levels, and to put a chest minecart on it, and have it just constantly moving around in the mine to give it more life. I also like using slabs, stairs, and buttons (only on stone) to make the walls not fully uniform and give them a little more texture/depth.

•

u/ignoranceandbliss1 13h ago

Im baffled at the talent

•

u/FlamingoNo7044 13h ago

My toxic trait is thinking I can do that 😂 I'd love to but I do not have the current skill. Looks great! I would totally live there lol. Edit: misspelled a word

•

u/legitfriendly 13h ago

Sensational work. All so well realised. And I’m very grateful as a console player that you turned the shaders off so I can see what it would look like without.

•

u/PogmasterNowGirl69 12h ago

Wow, I really love how the top down looks makes it feel!

•

u/Satrina_petrova 11h ago

This looks great! Like your builds are lovely but I really admire the composition. I suck at taking pictures, especially pictures of builds.

Do you use any isometric view mods like Picture Mode? I've considered trying them and if you're using them with these results I'm sold.

•

u/KaleidoscopeWhole375 11h ago

I was ready to be dissapointed when I swiped but honestly looks amazing in vanilla too.

•

u/Proud-Nerd00 11h ago

my toxic trait is thinking I could replicate this

•

u/plenesaragain 10h ago

i cant even replecate such a thing in crative so seeing this is survivul makes it more impressive

•

u/Green_gazter-080 10h ago

That house lowkey reminds me of the house from Minecraft Dungeons

•

u/19grandmasrobI 10h ago

This is amazing, any building tips

•

u/SufficientGoat8602 10h ago

Could i know whats this shader ?

•

u/katemkat23 9h ago

This is gorgeous!! Well done👏🏻💖

•

u/Preferably-Unknown 7h ago

I blame all this ai sheeaaahht for the first thought to come to mind..

The shaders make it look as if it's an ai image..

•

u/Embarrassed-Wave-748 7h ago

Thank you for not lying about this

•

u/DeltaDied 7h ago

Woah now THIS is how you build a quarry! I have always wanted to build one omg. I gotta take notes fr.

•

u/Anjuan_ 4h ago

Crazy stuff

•

u/KollyMollyDolly 4h ago

I have an almost exposed mineshaft nearby my base in my survival world. I am thinking of maybe doing something like this. Only problem is the mineshaft is under a mountain with a diagonal hole/ravine that goes down to the mineshaft (might open it up more at least and I might add a small mining colony inside). It's a little bit far from my base/village, but close enough to maybe be included into the village. I love your build.

It reminds me of a video I watched last night posted by disruptive builds that was titled, "I Transformed a RAVINE into a MINING OPERATION in Minecraft Hardcore" from about 7 months ago. His build was more rustic and weirdly modern, but I love the cozy medieval vibe your build gives me. I mainly try to build medieval and Victorian builds, but I am not the best at knowing which era something is from, or even good at building yet. I have been learning a lot from YouTube videos (advice videos mostly, or survival building videos), and a lot of my own fails so far.

•

u/KiraXIIx 2h ago

So cool :0

•

u/Plantlet092 55m ago

Thats a gorgeous base!

•

u/Bmanakanihilator 14h ago

Not to be a buzz kill, but wouldn't the hole fill up, and make quarrying impossible?

•

u/darunge 10h ago

Haha. Took me a while to find a like minded person.

Build looks awesome!!! (Yoink)

But I can’t help but think it’s slowly filling with water.

Alternatively, I believe this river always flowed into the Under Dark.

Is there a mod you used to get this picture or did you just take a screenshot and edit it?
