I'm 48

Since my first paying job at age 12 (a paper round) I've never been unemployed since, and I'm definitely exhausted with it all

I started my paper route when I was 8. I started babysitting at 11. 15 was the youngest I could get a real part time job. I decided 2 of them sounded good. My 40 year old self is very unimpressed with younger me.

I am so fucking over it, I say, with my full time job, my volunteering, and then the volunteering related to that volunteering. Clearly I've learned nothing. I hate my brain sometimes.
