I just like how every time I climb up a socioeconomic ladder either inflation or some kind of once in a generation disaster happens and kicks me right back down to the bottom rung again
This is my gripe. My grandfather worked at the nuclear plant some 30+ years.
He had:
House,
2 cars,
Motorhome,
Pension,
3 kids,
2 x 2 wk vacations per year,
Retired like a month before the plant closed as an ACO and started there as a security guard.
I make more than he ever made per year and my wife and I live in 2 5th wheel trailers unable to get ahead on our own. Granted we do help take care of my 97yr old grandma and my disabled parents.
