General Discussion FRT friendly ranges in Detroit?
Is anyone aware of any ranges I can shoot my TX22 with FRT in the Detroit area? I live in midtown Detroit but can drive a bit. Going out to Ann Arbor Arms is a little too far for me though. Thanks.

Close Quarters Tactical in Shelby Twp (23 Mile and Hayes) allows FRT / FRS / Full Auto with no extra charges. But they do require the target be no more than (I think it is) 20ft out.

Uncoiled is, but there's an FRT use surcharge ($25 IIRC) that they've started doing after getting too much damage to the range.

So they make all FRT users subsidize damages caused by a few? Why not charge just the ones doing damage like other ranges?
I guess maybe it's easier to charge everyone a bit up front than go after idiots after the fact.

Probably because it’s not always easy to catch people on the spot unless it’s really egregious
And I’m sure in those instances they ban people and / or go after them for more
They are probably hoping the charge makes people more cognizant too
I can’t really blame them
